Jurassic park 4:
It may star some of the people of the original film...guess that's some good news? I just hope it's not gonna be another "some random person gets trapped on the isle and they have to rescue him/her/them" kind of crap.[/h]
I think it could be 50/50 might be good or bad.
A sequal would be kind of awsome even if it wasn't action packed like them trying to get the research together and stuff. I mean it sound dull but they could make a good movie out of it.

American reunion:
Now, this may be potentially good. After several direct-to-dvd mediocre shit "American" movies, the series will have an actual sequel. According to the credit cast, it seems all the characters from the original movie will be returning.[/h]
I don't know what that is so I got nothing to say.

Bad boys 3:
First one was in 1995. Second came out in 2003. Now, it seems Michael Bay, Will Smith and Martin Lawrence want to make it a trilogy in 2015. I guess this could be another good one since the series so far has had a simplistic story and just overall the "pop-corn" type action flick. You know what to expect when you watch these. So long as it has decent story, lots of action, and the great chemistry between Will and Martin, this should be good.[/h]
ditto :P

Independence day 2 and 3:
Yup, you read it right. Not only are they gonna make a sequel, but according to IMDB, make a trilogy the following year. I guess this could be the same as Bad boys, it's your typical "alien invasion" kind of movie but... a trilogy?[/h]
I always liked Independence day every one I know thought it was shit but I liked it I don't know what most people thought of it.
They're going to keep making them till he dies on set.

Die hard 5:
Another pop-corn action flick, but isn't Bruce getting a little old for this?[/h]
I thought he still looked young enough to be a bad ass.

I, robot 2:
Loved I, robot and thought the story was pretty well closed up in the end. Don't see how they could make a sequel from it, let alone anything decent and not just a petty cash-in attempt.[/h]
Maybe robot crime is high now with robots having free will.. I think that's what happens at the end in a way right. I might be wrong :P

Total recall:
A remake of the 1990 movie adaptation of the book. I still love watching the 1990 version to this day, I guess an updated version MIGHT be good...[/h]
I think for the remake if they still used Arny it would be kind of awsome and probaly a first to be done with a remake.
I've never actaully seen this movie but with all this zombie hype on tv right now I think I'de rather see the old version.
Is it a prequal maybe? if so a better title would be Kill Bill vol 0.
The thing I hate about the Terminator series is none of the films feel like they go together apart from the 1st 2

Beverly hills cop 4:
Another unnecessary sequel. First one was the best, and it just went downhill from there...so why in the hell would they make a 4th after all these years? I just...[/h]
Isn't every movie they make with him in them just going down hill. They shouldn't set it in the present because every time I watch them I enjoy the feeling of it being a few decades ago.

Teenage mutant ninja turtles:
Apparently, this will be a reboot of the live action movies. My complaint with the first movie (1990) was the lame final showdown with Shredder vs. Splinter. My complaints with 2 (1991) are 1. No Casey Jones and 2. Lame ending with super Shredder. TMNT 3 (1993) was absolute garbage.
I guess this reboot MIGHT be good, if they don't repeat their past mistakes.[/h]
I always enjoyed the fact that they where dressed up as turtles and that it looked fake. As long as the don't use CGI I will enjoy it.

Untitled Batman reboot
And last but not least, this reboot. Now, if I'm reading this right, Warner Brothers will reboot the franchise 3 years after The Dark Knight rises.........

...what?[/h]
I'de rather they keep the series going it really fucks it up for those that are enjoying the current series if they're just going to make a reboot I don't see the point in them filming the 3rd movie right now. I feel that this batman series has giving so much to the audience that I don't see how they could make a better series.
What's the point in it all after watching these kinds of movies I get perplexed on the actor playing the hero as the hero for good I can't watch any other movie with that actor because all I see is the hero they played before and when they change the actor who plays the hero it really screws things up I'm still not sure if I can watch any movie with Tobey Maguire in it with out seeing Spiderman I'm a bit over the fact they changed the actor since they're making a reboot because after watching the trailer I think it might be more like the old cartoon and maybe involve his parents background, but it will still have a bitter after taste.

I heard a rumor about the kill bill one.
It was something about the child of one of the dead assassins hunting down the bride and succeeding making the daughter of the bride go on yet another revenge trip to avenge her mother.
Makes sense since that child is the only loose end.

*Facepalm*. Hollywood is running out of ideas eh? Time to milk money out of good movies and make horrible sequels out them! I hope that they are not as bad as I imagine them to be. I'm sure those movies will make a lot of money, which will guarantee them more sequels. Sad times...

Oh look, a QQ thread about hollywood. It's not all QQ though, I actually made this to inform people more the anything. And I also think some of these sequels might be good, like Bad boys 3. I'm also (somewhat) looking forward to MIB 3. So long as Will Smith raps and has a little fun with Tommy Lee Jones will kicking some alien ass, it'll be all good.
Same goes for Austin Powers 4
