Valentines Day

Yes, I'm thinking about it now.

Do you guys do anything for it? Have you ever recieved anything from someone?

I'm going to making chocolates for the boy I like...Thanks anime, for influencing another part of my life.

Never done anything special.

Only "special" thing I've had happen was managing to get my girlfriend at the time to break up with me on the day. She totally was all like "I have something important I want to talk to you about." I could totally just sense it wasn't good so I made her tell me and then she proceeded to break up with me. Totally fell for her goading me into asking on V-Day. Bitch.

Well, I should say bitchy thing to do at the time. We're civil now and still talk to each other on rare occasions.

The only thing about valentines day for me is that they seem to conveniently fall between girlfriends, I never actually have one ON valentines day...
Never done anything special on the day, just go to work and get aggitated at all the lovey-doveys out and about. I mean get a room (^///^)
Oh there is one valentines day story that was sort of good, since the rest of this post is sort of depressing ^^; I think it was year 11 I went over to a girls house with some chocolates and a picture I drew, I was so embarrased that I just kind of walked around beforehand for an hour before I got up the courage to knock on her door. I finally did it and she said it was the first valentine she had ever gotten. Didnt change a lot between us but I know there will always be that bond there, happy days back then, and just happy I was the first one :)

Nope, I never think about it has yet to ever means anything to me.

I do nothing for it, its just a day between the 13th and the 15th, it appears to be on a Monday, so that means I'll be working, perfect. Great way to keep my mind off it.

i am so god damn romantic all the time for no reason. i'll go pick flowers instead of some tacky store bought crap. remember random details that just mentioning makes her cream a little. surprise sun set picnic dinner that i cooked myself.

one time that fucking day creeps up while i'm busy with real life shit like working to pay for all the pretty baubles she asks for. she sceamed like i set her family on fire.

fuck that day. now i use it as a test of my significant others character. if she is more concerned with some foolish holiday than reality, there's the door.

Wear and apron and only an apron, go to his house and give him teh chocolate... and bring some whipcream.

Same here, but I always look forward to the sweet V-Day stories. Makes me feel a little better someone's V-day went well.

I hate this 'holiday' with a passion. It's nothing more than an excuse to sell cards, candy and other crap. Also, if you are like me, you just get 'love' shoved in your face all day to remind you "lulz you're alone har har." So yeah, not a fan.

For those whom have a significant other or whatever, I suppose maybe it might mean something more. To the rest of us, it's just a corporate holiday that makes us feel like crap.

Depends on how long you guys dated. Friendship rings are nice if you really want to start a committed relationship. Sometimes if your girlfriend is pulling your arm towards the jewelry section and making you look at rings it's usually a sign that she wants to get a pair.
