Vege Burger AKA Mushroom Burger

AKA Portobello in between a pair of sandwich buns (no this is not some sort of innuendo) if you want it to be specific.
What do people think about them? I ain't a vegetarian yet I really love them delicious cap, it is especially strange in that I dislike mushroom and cringe whenever I take a bite other then the Portobello mushroom. Is it strange for a non vegetarian that hate mushroom just flat out in love with Vege burger?
Edit: Btw it be nice if someone tell me how to make a good Portobello Burger so I can try to make one myself at home one day.
