W32/Virut gen

Guys, ever since i changed into win 7 I keep on getting detection of a virus called W32/ Virut gen each time i want to play my VN. Can somebody help me?

Format your HDD, reinstall the OS. Fixed.

Maybe the executive file has been infected? Get & run anti-virus software that gets rid of it. You might also use on-line scanners (of reputable AV companies like, Norton - though their products suck! - or Kaspersky) to check the file.

It can also be a false alarm, as modern Anti-virus uses heuristics and esoteric memory operations - either used by the VN or a crack you applied - may trigger its warning.

The virus would pop up a winlog screen to steal your info. Download and run malwarebytes and if you don't have a AV.. get avast or avg.. i would advise avast and when your done full system scanning, use the bootscan on high. It's will restart and run a bootup scan of everything.. i find more crap on the bootscan then the system scan.. mostly corrupted files but also low level crap like this.
