A thread dedicated to music that has anything to do with war. It can be soldiers songs, marches, anthems, pro-war, anti-war, or just neutral about this topic, but it must deal with war. It can be any genre. And if you have any songs from Sabaton, post them on the Sabaton topic.
March of the British Grenadiers
Farewell of Slavianka

<.< I almost feel strange or out of place posting metal here, but whatever.Nah, i totally isn't strange, it's actually quite good!
Here some more metal:
Turisas - To Holmgard and Beyond
Ensiferium - Into Battle
Heidevolk - Karel van Egmond

I like the Warhammer 40k story and tunes, but Dawn of War II as an alleged "strategy game" really sucked. It was neither a strategy game, nor a good RPG IMO.
So, now 2 "rather unusual" Italian songs follow:
Faccetta nera sings about a beautiful black female Ethiopian, and how the Italian troops are going to liberate her and bring the new Roman Empire.
The second song is Bella Ciao, which means "goodbye beautiful" and it is about Italian partisans who fought the fascists.

Well I have a few. The first is Frontline by Pillar. Some might say it does not count but it does IMO.
The rest I know they count, just listen to the lyrics.
Bad Company - Five Finger Death Punch
The Day That Never Comes - Metallica
I know of more but they are not comin to my mind for some reason. If I remember them will add them.

War by Edwin Starr is awesome. One of the best tunes of pacifism. Here are 2 songs from the Napoleonic era:
Chant de l'Oignon
Ich hatt' einen Kameraden

Could someone from Japan post some good Japanese marching/soldiers music, or anything that displays Japanese martial spirit?
Thank you in advance!

hmm.. you don't have to be japanese to know what kind of war music they got in japan.. well i know some of japanese people IRL..
japanese ussually use Taiko (well foreigner generalized them as japanese drum as it) to rally other..
unfortunately the one that i heard IRL much better than any of these >.>
these are the traditional one..

I know of the Taiko, i was asking for specific music. Like the song of a certain shogun, of a certain regiment, about a certain war, etc. And I guess you wont find these things by googeling in English (knowing that from my own experience in googeling for very specific historical details in languages other than English compared to googeling in English).
And even if, a foreigner will hardly have that knowledge on Japanese military history to judge what songs are good/appropriate enough, especially since this isn't a military history-forum.
But thanks for you effort!

Finally remembered more. The first I can't believe myself with not thinking of it the first time I posted.
One - Metallica
Carry On My Wayward Son - Kansas
M.I.A. - Avenged Sevenfold (R.I.P. REV) Done with clips from "Black Hawk Down"
Operation Ground And Pound - Dragonforce
Kenji - Fort Minor ( based on what happened with the Japanese Immigrants in the US. during WW2) I freaking hate the fact the US did this to the Japanese Immigrants.
Should really see the Music video for this. Was going to use it but I can't post it cause the _ in the url. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3Ckvmc_486U
Hands Held High - Linkin Park
Another Hero Lost - Shadows Fall
