Waffle Tacos by Taco Bell?

I'm going to make waffle tacos......i need to figure out how to get the right shape and consistency to the batter.......

Will post my results...if I can find a waffle iron too....

Seriously. It's probably because there's a place I know that specializes in waffle sandwiches, but I wasn't impressed by the whole waffle taco idea. It kind of looks like what public school kids would do with their cafeteria breakfasts - sandwich it all together.

It's only in the product testing phase, it can still get axed, but since it passed the focus groups and such, it seems like there is a market for it, I know most people would get it just for the novelty of Taco Bell selling breakfast

It's still a cool idea since in my area we don't have things like that in a ready to go format, without us having to make it ourselves.

I assume the target market are commuters

Is this at all taco bells? Cuz mine doesn't have them

It stared out on the west coast for testing so Idk if it made it over from there

I'll be honest, when I heard "waffle taco" I thought it was going to be like a normal taco but with a waffle for a shell. Like, regular taco fillings I mean. Imagine a waffle sandwiching ground beef, cheese, tomato, lettuce, etc. Weird...

you mean those tacos that have icecream in them and they have sorta like a waffle cone taco shell with chocolate on top? Sorry if im wrong
