So tomorrow is Midsummers Eve, and here in the fair north we celebrate it either by eating as much as we can while forcing it down with Schnapps or just by drinking endless amounts of whatever alcohol we happen to have at close hands until we wake up the next morning in an unfamiliar bathtub with a penguin, having no idea of how whether yourself or the penguin got there.
And my typical luck has it that I'm now sick as an egg, with hurting throat, a painful headache and a terrible lack of sleep (the latter cuz I just "woke up", meaning that I got out of bed after having laid there for about 8 hours unable to fall asleep), so I'm looking forward to celebrate my midsummer in front of the computer watching anime while whining about it like a little bitch, since I most likely wont get better until tomorrow.
I guess one can say this is my own fault, since I, in lack of patience, decided to take an earlier bus home two nights ago, a bus ride that ended with me having to walk a few kilometers in the cold night without a jacket (froze my balls of D=).
In whatever case, I guess I could make this something else than just meaningless whining by asking you what ur gonna do on Midsummer? Do u celebrate it, u dun, is it just an excuse to drink more alcohol (like it is for the youngsters here?) or wat?

Where is exactly is "the fair north"?Sweden, though I think Midsummers Eve is celebrated through out most of (at least northen) Europe? Not sure though, I think we swedes take any chance of celebration and drinking much more seriously than most other countries around here. And many of our celebrated traditions are pagan from the beginning.

We light fires and put witches on them here not real ones though ... we drown them
We do both. Except instead of witches we kidnap the Baptist protesters with signs that say hurtful things. I'm not a pagan, but they sure can throw a good party.
