Well now... i missed this drink

its been so long.... back at gramp's place... me, my cousins and several men would drink to this thing after a days work sorting the jungle or fishing in the nearby sea. A coconut product, the palm wine.....



in teh Philippines, especially in the Mindanao Regions, we'd call this "Tuba".
its like a kind of wine....

with the sweet taste of petrol

thats only a container.... its thoroughly cleaned. its tasty but dont overdo the drinking

Ah, tuba is good...but as far as coconut-based liquor goes, I think my favorite is lambanog.

Hey! Lambanog is preeeetty good. Goes down smooth like vodka.

But as for drinks I miss because I can't really get them in the US...um...nah, I can get anything from ramune to sarsaparilla where I live, so I'm a pretty happy cat.

drinks I miss? thew funky cocktails at my fav bar in Estonia (2 for about 5 bucks on ladies night.. such a deal)

they weren't like.. usual drinks, or if they were they modified the recipes. I should've stolen their menu to be able to make them at home.

Other than that there was this place in Slovenia.. a Gelato place (<3 gelatooo) and they made like.. alcoholic drinks with gelato.. like .. gelato smoothie cocktail type of thing
