meh, no...
William of orange was simply cute due to his color
tybalt (fictional character, not historical) was cute due to his title of the prince of cats
Napoleon was due to his size and demeanor
dallas was simply because I like the cowboys.
I just wanted people to notice the literal and historical references, oh well.

Spoiler:
May I just say that Tybalt is an incredibly cool name for a cat. Wish I could remember some supporting characters from MacBeth and Henry V, I loved those plays...and my dog's name is Charlie.
Edit: MacDuff, but that isn't half as good. I quite like Montjoy, though. :P

Two snails, Herman and the other Herman. They look and behave exactly the same and I can't distinguish between them. They're active at the same time, they sleep at the same places next to (Or ontop of.) each other, they always eat at the same time (If possible from the same leaves.), are the same size and have the exact same colouring. I'm not making that up, and they're only named since someone else gave me the second one (And told me it's name.), but I actually don't really "use" their names.
I also have a few snakes of various species, but they're all nameless. I just don't like the idea of giving them human traits. I'm also one of the close to non-existing people which don't have "conversations" with their pets. If I'm having a conversation with someone about them, I'm simply naming them through their species.

Well, I was going to create a topic about this, but thought should check and lo and behold.
Anyway, I've got two cats named Smoky and Socks. Yeah, I know real original. :P

My family has a cat named Derby. Got her from the humane society and never bothered to change the name they gave her. She had one of the less awful ones though, they had a whole row of cats named after the metalloids on the periodic table.

I have 2 cats,
Hazel:
Jazz:
That was him as a kitten though. He's the size of a small human now, good god. It's hard to get a picture of him because we don't get a lot of sunlight in the house and it seems like no matter how many lights are in the room, the camera doesn't want to pick it up - thus you can't see him.
@Tsurayu: Your cats are really cute
