Reference to the fact that a young guy (THE ECONOMY: 28, Малешкин: 20) comes in from outside (THE ECONOMY: different hospital, Малешкин: ВОЕÐÐÐЯ ÐКÐДЕМИЯ ИМ. Ðœ. Ð’. ФРУÐЗЕ) to head a (partially) older crew (THE ECONOMY: of med techs, Малешкин: OF TANKISTS), doing everything strictly by the book (THE ECONOMY + Малешкин).
Also that movie is pretty decent as far as GPW-themed flicks go. Actual tankists found it pretty damn realistic...including my own grandpa. It's light on the propaganda and the pathos; it's about some blokes stuck in a war - they laugh a bit, they quarrel a bit, then they die. During a meaningless battle for a meaningless non-name hick village. конец фильма!
Long story short: one of the three decent GPW movies out there (the other two being ЛетÑÑ‚ журавли and Иди и Ñмотри).
