What country do you believe has the best cuisine?

Simple question, what country do you believe has the best cuisine? It doesn't have to be just be one country; you can post multiple countries if you wish.
My contenders for favourite cuisine is probably a tie between Italian and Japanese. Italian cuisine just feels so... robust, for lack of a better word. Who would have imagined that you could make such delicious food with just meat and pasta? Spaghetti and bolognese, spaghetti and meatballs, ravioli, lasagna... it's all delicious. I went to Venice in the summer and I probably gained about five pounds from eating so much of that delicious food.
Japanese is the other prime contender for my favourite, as well as Chinese to a lesser extent. For one, I'm hopelessly addicted to sushi and I just can't get enough of the stuff. It's like a drug. I greatly enjoy Asian-style noodles and fried rice, as well as miso soup.
I also enjoy French food a fair amount, as French pastries and desserts are simply delectable. Croissants, pain au chocolat, eclairs, crepes, mousse... all wonderful. It's worth putting up with snooty Parisians just to be able to have those scrumptious desserts.
What about the rest of you?

Italian. Pizza, Spaghetti, pasta, lasagna, just Mmmmm. Japanese food as well is a close contender.
And I hate Chinese food..simply cause I am Chinese and I eat that shit daily. There's nothing special about it for me.

'Cuisine' sounds so namby pamby (French word, go figure.) Anyway, I went down to the Bahamas a few years ago and this street vendor grilled the best chicken I have ever tasted, I ate 30 dollars worth of chicken that day; southern barbecue has nothing on Island cooking.

I can't decide between Italian and Japanese. I really can't.
But there's a shop in my town that sells Japanese Pizza, is that counted as a fusion of both Japanese and Italian cooking?

When I went to China to visit my grandparents, the food was great.. Dim sum was simply delicious. A bit expensive tho.
Japanese food is great too, but I don't like sushi, or anything that is served raw.

-Mexican food to me is just so awesome. I love tortas with steak! It is even better when i make it. :P
-When it comes to Mediterranean Food, I just love Falafel sandwiches.
-I love Italian food for the reason every else loves it: Pizza, pasta, lasagna and spaghetti.
- I like American food because it is so simple and satisfying. Cheeseburger ftw.
