What do you think of these canadian flood warnings?

I want intelligent opinion because i'm not that smart.
I'm not sure where else to go for random opinions I figured the internet in the smart-people section would be appropriate.

So to wrap this up - should canadians worry? I'm from alberta - did you hear what happened in calgary? People are being evacuated.

What do you think is causing this? I'm blown away at the prospect of my secure 21st century coach potato life. I don't know how to live without it! Should I be afraid of these floods or not?

Oh hello fellow Albertan. I live in south Calgary and it's not flooded in here so...lucky. I'm not following the news but I hear that a lot of places are flooded and I had some appointments cancelled but even though, it didn't worry me.

If canada floods does that mean americans have to clean up the mess?

My brother from another mother (step-brother) lives in Calgary and he was lucky since he lives on the outskirts where the flood didn't hit.

If it floods bad enough it might flow down into your lands, so perhaps so.
