Personally, I'm trying to get back into college and get a law degree. I'm thinking maybe criminal law. Only problem is that if it works out,I'd have to pass the bar exam again if I move out of the state.

I'm a Junior right now majoring in International Relations and Diplomacy, with a focus on East Asian studies (Surprise? Not really).
I really had no clue what to do with that at first since the career field is so vast; there's practically numerous positions both in the public and private sector that could utilize someone with a degree like that.
Right now, after my cousin came back from boot camp in Alabama about three months ago, I'm starting to lean towards enrolling in OTS after college so that I can become a commissioned officer in the Air Force. Not only is it a high paying job, but it'll practically erase all my existing debt (majority of it being school loans and such). And from what he and a lot of his superiors have told me, my field of study is in high demand for recruits. So, I guess I got nothing to lose, yea?
So yea, that's pretty much where I'm heading in my life at the moment. General goal is to pay off my school loans and maintain a stable, medium-to-high salary job.

Fakku Nurse
Mines pretty simple: become a nurse, then go back home and work.
Once I'm out of school want to do things like go to Japan for a vacation, get married, have some fun in married life, and finally have kids.

Graduate College with an Info Systems Degree, find a nice asian girlfriend whos cute with a personality (dont give a dam bout hot) and just earn enough money to be satisfied. Oh, and avoid ignorant masses who proclaim that everything wrong with the country is 100% due to our president and not the legislature.

I am planning to get my associates degree at PCC (Portland Community College) in Oregon in the US, and then transfer to study abroad in japan for grad and post-grad to get a master's degree.
I wish to be a University-level English teacher in either Japan, Korea, or Taiwan eventually, but no luck with my life as if goes right now.
I plan to learn to speak Japanese before I learn to write it, because if I do not then I think I may be in trouble once I leave to study abroad.
The reason I chose Japan as my primary target for abroad studies is because I am extremely interested in all forms of their culture, their housing styles, layouts, manner of dress for situations, the various unique accents, and of course, the intriguing people who speak the language, and the various interesting jobs that they have there.
I'm also interesting in their form of democracy, which is slightly similar and yet drastically different from US democracy, and because of this I chose Japan over Taiwan and Korea because although they are democratic like the US, their democracies are similar to both Japan and the US in ways that I am uninterested in.
I also made sure to look up most of the important laws of Japan so that I can avoid trouble whenever I do begin making plans to study abroad, and I have a realistic picture of how I am going to afford living their while I go to school at a University, hopefully at the internationally renowned Sophia Uni.
If worse comes to worse after I finally get through college and being a University-level English Professor in Japan isn't possible, then I will settle for a secondary-level college, or at the least, a college prep school. Although, I also refuse to teach at a private school because of the loose atmosphere generally associated with them (not only in Japan, but around the world), and also the risks involved in teaching there.
That being said, the place where I want to settle down after someday getting married is actually Canada, somewhere in the mountainous regions where there are pine trees and waterfalls. A nice, well-built home surrounded by nature and the beautiful wildlife.
Of course I would still be a teacher even after retiring - To me, retiring means that I can live peacefully with the one I love and we can live our lives passionately as a married couple, but I also want to keep my teaching career because I know that as weak-willed as I am by nature, if I stop working my soul will waver, and eventually rot.
