Hentai is not a secret for me, is a lifestyle.

I don't like the idea of that at all, I've generally kept it well hidden for a long, long time. I know a lot of my friends wouldn't accept it, and probably use it against me for the rest of my life.

I watch a lot of anime, so a couple of friends have asked me if I watch hentai. I deny it every time. One of my friends is the type that takes the piss out of any little detail he can find to use against you. For example, I was quite a spotty teenager, and this friend used to constantly play on the fact that I had spots by calling me names and such. It was in a jokey manner so I could accept it, but it would get extremely out of hand if Hentai were to come into the equation.

It's a shame I never knew anyone in real life that was into it.

I think the only people who don't know are my family. All of my friends know I like this kind of stuff, and I even share eroges with one of them. He's also played more than me so he gives me good reviews on them. =w=

It's not an "interest" so much as a "boredom relieving device". When I date people I don't read it (unless they happened to be really into it, and even then I wouldn't care all that much). I think everyone I know looks at porn of one kind or another, except for a couple asexual people I know.

They wouldn't care. My cousins love it and the older folks think of it as an alternative to regular porn.

What if your friends knew?

They've all had interest in hentai in the past, it's nothing special.

Same. Even with so-called "mainstream" porn.

That's not to say that I leave it all just laying out in the open, but I don't have any kids, so I see no reason to go out of my way to hide or lock-up my collection. If someone wants to go through the effort of snooping, I'm sure they'll find something fairly easily. That really says more about the character of that person than it does about me.
