Pretty much same idea as the other thread about guitars and basses.
I use a Behringer ultra bass BTX1800 combo (180 watts.)

Well, I have a Fender 10G practice amp, but I recently bought a Peavey ValveKing 112 50w tube amp off eBay for $315. still waiting to get it.

For guitar I'm using a stock Epiphone Valve Junior 5W (V3) [until i can get my mod on]
Bass i'm using a Carlsbro BassBeaver 50W (best name ever)
I love my EVJ... just not enough to leave it as it is.

Traynor YBA-200 (200 watts tube head)
With a custom cab, 1x15" and 1x8" for extra mids
Play that with a Fender Precision. TI Jazz Flatwounds on that.
My head settings are usually like, Gain up to 11, the rest (including EQ) flat. I like the sound straight out of the box but I like some grind with that.

I use a generic Line 6 Spiderwire IV.. I prefer gain and such up, as I enjoy a lot of lead sounds, honestly. Cleans pretty good on it, but has an annoying echo everytime you switch that you have to manually fix.

Fender Rumble 100w, for bass. I've gigged with it for a couple of years and it's very much up to the task.
The tone is very strong though I'd probably use something with aluminium cones if I was playing pop/poprock or funk.
