Most of the time, a T-shirt and pajama bottoms for me and yeah, the occasional old gym clothes (T-shirt + shorts) if it's hot.

I own a ton of those pajama sets but the shirt usually chokes me. Either pajama bottoms with one of my dads overly large T-shirts or just a T-shirt.

Boxers and a large sweater if it is really cold. I have been thinking of getting some actual pajamas recently.

Usually strip down to my boxers.
If I really can't sleep but I'm determined to, I also wrap a scarf around my eyes to keep them shut. Did that last night and slept for a solid 12 hours in an attempt to catch up with lost sleep, but I tied it on too tight and not only did the scarf actually stay on, but I woke up with marks all over my forehead.

Why don't you just buy one of those eye patches? That sounds really uncomfortable...

Those things don't keep my eyes shut, and it's more comfortable than you think. It's like having an extra pillow.

I always sleep naked, I find it uncomfortable wearing stuff in bed. If it's really cold I'll sometimes wear socks and a T-shirt, but I tend not to.

I've been wearing pajamas to sleep since I started wearing clothes. It feels warm the whole time. I can't get used to wearing anything that exposes the parts that the pajamas usually cover yet.
