No, it just feels soft. My skin tends to be very sensitive afterwards. It's also nice for shlicking.
Frankly I just shave it often because it feels good. Having long pubic itches a bit so it tends to annoy me.

I'm a guy and I shave frequently. I started off with a manual razor, and I was (pleasantly) surprised to see that I never nicked myself. I transitioned to an electric razor after a couple of years, and it makes things much quicker, although the shave isn't that close.
The thing I was most worried about when I first started was the scrotum, but it turns out that it's actually pretty easy if you just stretch it out a bit so you have a flat surface.
If you choose to shave the buttcrack, I suggest you use a different razor head. Men's genitalia aren't as prone to infection as women's, but you still don't want residual fecal matter all over your nether regions.
And while the process of shaving is pretty meh, the results are wonderful. I can't stop molesting myself for the rest of the day because it's sooo smooth :D

I use neither shaving cream nor aftershave. If you have an a full bush, I would recommend starting with an electronic razor, or at least scissors, because hacking it down to size with a normal razor is a bitch.
I shave right before I go into a shower, and it feels just fine afterwords without aftershave.

As long as it´s wet, it´s actually pretty easy to shave with a ladies razor without hurting yourself. I don´t see why people have any trouble with it.

But the fact that one is encouraged to modify one's body in a way that sometimes results in later pain (and encourages the sexualization of prepubescent appearance) isn't really the best result...

One of my reasons for the post was because lots of hentai and Asian porn have full hair (I guess 80's porn). But in western culture as development took place.... smaller phones, computers, bikinis and 'bush'.
Anyway, I think its interesting to see a group of people who are so aroused by a media that generally portrays a pussy one way (with hair), but in reality they like to see it in another. These days social norms play a smaller role on how we view certain standards and customs so its just down to what we like.
And for most people it comes down to trial and error, what you find pleasing and what you are willing to do.

I see where you're coming from in that people shouldn't feel socially pressured to modify their bodies, but I'm still a huge proponent of shaving/trimming.
And not just for sexual reasons. I have no experience, and that trend's likely to continue for some time now, but I started my first pube reduction at 14, because it just felt annoying. It was a huge improvement, and every time I've expanded my removal of coverage, it's only felt better. Of course, if you've tried it and found out that you dislike it, that's a different story.
Also, I'd say girls try this often enough anyway, but a lot of guys think of shaving down there as weird, and if they could just get over that and give it a shot, they might find they really enjoy the sensation.

That being said, if their not going to love you unless you change the way you or your pubic hair looks you probably don't want to be with them anyway.

I'd gor for Brazialian as the first choice, both for me and a potential partner. The triangle, freestyle or trimmed wouldn't be minus factors either, but for some reason the landing strip looks weird to me.
