What shin megami tensei games should be a movie?

In my opinion,Persona 3 would make a good movie

Avatar tuner, well just because it was my favorite. Nocturne would be better if my personal bias is taken out

Persona 3.
Due to the two hour time constraint many time skips would be in order. Akinari would be shown all over the fuckin' place. Him being the best S. Link and all. Bropei's freak outs would only have like, fifteen minutes in between sessions.

Basically, shit would be sped up. Similar to the ToS anime but... Less crappy['Cause it's Persona Motherfuckin' 3.].

Devil Summoner would make an awesome movie.

Persona 4 requires a lot more cause it focuses more on character development rather than the overall story

plus i wanna hear Burn my Dread on the big screen :)

nah, your characters all get one demon they transform into and thats it. they'll learn skills through matra system, think FFX

Still the story is very cryptic, i think thats its strongest part

EDIT: i forgot to mention that since everyone has a demon part, they must satisfy it by devouring other demons if they dont they'll lost whatever humanity they have left

Yup, the story is great. It could be a two part movie.
The gameplay is like Nocturne, but more easier.
I remember the mantra system. You have to get the element that covers their weakness.

Or they can just do more than one, similar to the Kara no Kyoukai movies. That seems like the best way of doing a movie based off such a game, without skipping anything major, imo.

nah, i think both can be made into 1 movie, part 1 is very short and i still havent finished part 2 yet



if you take away the S links and Dungeon Grinding. Persona 3 is pretty short and can probably fit into 1 movie

Maybe two, but definitely not one. It'd feel WAY too rushed.

a few months ago i was thinking what if they made P3 movie, ya maybe your right, might take 2 movies, but i dont know how they're gonna split it though

2 ways that pops into my head
1)They end the first movie with all the 12 shadows destroyed, but that would leave the 2nd movie with not much action anymore, in other words 2nd movie would be boring

2)They would end it with the 7-9th shadow, but that would make the 1st movie's ending kinda anti-climactic

Do you play Persona for the action? I sure don't (not to say the gameplay isn't cool and stuff, but I dig the story and characters more). And I wouldn't expect anything different from the movie; story is a big part here so why not. I certainly would do it that way.

i have only played Persona 4, but maybe Persona 3 won't be bad..
