What Shows Would Make Great Games?

I just thought of Attack On Titan as a game, and instantly realized how amazing it would be if you made the gameplay pretty much Shadow of the Colossus with fast zip-lines and an intuitive grappling system.
Fuck. Yes.
Maybe you could make it part RPG, as in how you interact with your squad and how cohesively you work together helps shape the story. But a videogame adaptation of an anime adaptation of a manga might not be in the best position to implement that kind of complex system.


What about you lot? What anime/shows/movies have you seen that would make good games, and what kind of gameplay would it have?

I personally think that the anime show "Claymore" would make a 9/10 in gaming. Also, the game style would be like bayonetta or heavenly swords.

I think dennou coil would make for a rather neat game if it was done right. Would be alot of running from sacchi but they could add lotso other aspects to the game. Not sure how the story would be integrated into it though, the best way would be an original side story really because doing the anime story justice would be difficult in game format unless it is a visual novel.

A Claymore MMORPG would be great. The DS game sucks

Well, as you said, Attack on Titan. The other one I'm thinking about is Sword Art Online.

I liked ALO from SAO.

Any specific gameplay types? Because if not then...

I think Tenjho Tenge would probably make a pretty good fighting game.

I can imagine Cromartie High School being a mini-game esque type, like Warioware or Rhythm Heaven.

There was a Trigun game announced but no news of it being developed.

Also I'd love to see more crossover fighting games like Jump Ultimate Stars or Tatsunoko vs Capcom.

Call me crazy but, Game of Thrones really would be a cool games as long as it was done CORRECTLY. Like if it was a massive online RPG game where you could build and grow your houses (like you could marry between houses, have children, etc). So kind of like a mix between Skyrim, Fable, etc etc.

I'd literally pay money to play it as long as it was done right.

Adventure Time...huge overworld with dungeon crawling and a ton of other interesting places and characters.

I would play this.

It would be better if it wasn't a turn based game.

It sucks that after you attack you have to wait and take damage to attack again.

If SAO's fighting mechanics was like Witcher 2 and still keep it's original RPG elements then that would be one of the best games.

Oh, sorry for not mentioning it. Most likely MMORPG. Though it seems too early for that kind of interface to be made.

I was hoping for a Battle Angel game, but it never came out.

Mostly of what was seen SAO.
Like the world of Aincrad, Alfheim Online, Gun Gale Online, and the Underworld from Project Alicization.
Accel World would be nice too.

Something in the vein of Odin Sphere. Perhaps do like Persona where it's split between regular life and witch hunts.

It'd be difficult, and I'm not sure exactly what- but I think there's definitely potential there. Some cerebral puzzling/social dynamics- mixed in with some action/fighting for spice.

It's bit late now, but i was watching naruto on adult swim and was thinking with all the different villages, and skills it could make a pretty cool mmorpg, maybe a plain old 1p rpg too.
