What the fuck?

Is it just me, or are there a lot of pregnancy prevention ads on all the anime and manga sites that I visit? Almost everywhere I go, I run into a Plan B ad or something about condoms (although, the last two I watched were pretty good.) Has anyone else noticed this?

I havent seen an ad in my browser in almost 2 years, Adblock is your friend, it even blocks VEVO ads in youtube videos.

The only time I ever see ads is either when I'm doing Incognito browsing or on sites i purposely turn adblock off to support (like swfchan or some webcomics)

I consistently get ads for JAV sites. And yes, I know what AdBlock is, I just choose not to use it.:p
Minus one for this post? What, did I insult the sensitivities of someone who visits a hentai/doujin site by mentioning real porn? Sheesh.

Could do with more on TV tbh, not just on animu shows. Everyone I know/went to school with has either had an abortion, a miscarriage, trying for a kid, had a kid or having their second. And I'm sat here like; "WHOAAAAA SLOW DOWN".

Except that sometimes I use Chrome, and I'm too lazy to get anything like an adblocker for Chrome; so I seldom come across ads, but that's it. I end up ignoring ads even if I do see them.

I don't see anything, but i do find the irony of reading and watching stuff from japan with anti-birth stuff when the japanese people are not breeding anymore to the point 30% of the pop are asexual and eternal virgin.
Maybe not irony but the weridness of it.

Selective targeting. Your searches are tracked. Based off your internet searches they determine your a very sexually active person, and maybe a woman. Also, I guess pregnancy prevention... people(?)... are getting more aggressive with their add campaign.
Think of it as a bunch of shop owners sharing (selling) your purchase history with every other vendor so they can sell you something they would think you may be interested in. (Ripping off the Ghostery vid lol)

It also determines where you are, which is cool, because Japanese ads for sexy stuff! Except for YouTube, which is Japanese ads for inane stuff.

Implying you could possibly insult somebody with that post, and they aren't -1'ing you for being stupid
ot: I use adblock. It's glorious. No utub ads, no porn ads, no hobbyking ads, etc.
If I didn't have adblock, the majority would be: Porn/ hentai, hobbyking, amain.

All I get is "Tired of awesome free porn? Pay for some expensive horrible porn!" ads. That and "grow your gentleman's sausage 5 yards" ads. Yes. One of them sad "gentleman's sausage."
To one-up he guy that said Adblock is your friend, I say running a nonpersistent thumbdrive Linux distro with tracking cookies disabled is your friend.
