What to do / see in Tokyo?

So im going there this March with a couple of friends we already have allot of places there we want 2 go 2 but 2 weeks is a long time so i was wondering what places would u suggest going 2.

if u never went there where would u want 2 go?

if u went there were did u go?

lets all talk about Tokyo shall we.

Tokyo Tower is one place to see.
There is a zoo at Ueno.
There is always Shibuya.
If you book in advance you can also go to the Ghibli musium
There is the Tokyo anime centre in Akihabara.
If you have a rail pass There is the Nikko shrine in Nikko
Again if you have a rail pass there are anime musiums in Nagoya, and Osaka which are only a couple of hours ride on a bullet train.

You an otaku? The only place I saw there that I can call Nirvana is AKIHABARA.

The moment you step down the train, all you'll see is anime, chicks in maid costumes, the latest games, porn, and more anime.

Too bad I was with my family and we went there for only an hour, but that hour is the best hour of my life, next to the moment I tasted authentic Japanese Curry.

Personally, I've been to Asakusa, Ginza, and Shinjuku besides Central Tokyo.

Oh & btw we already have an hotel so we cant really go to Kyoto or Osaka since it takes time also Japan Rail Pass is expensive & comes only in pack of 7 / 14 days
So yeah thats probably not gonna happen

7 days is close to 300 USD

14 is around 450 USD if not more for these passes

but

it makes really ez as you can use any public rail line and super rail line on JR

saves you a ton of money if your going by foot and if your strapped for cash

had me traveling from aomori to osaka within a week over multiple trips and stops

too bad i forgot to visit mount fuji T_T

asakusa has a nice international hostel pretty cheap too

20 USD a night with a deposit of 10 USD

sometimes though it can be full

oh and its so funny to hear under the sea in tokyo disneyland

I was thinking Burger King or KFC ^^

Honestly speaking Ill try not 2 go 2 anything not japanese

But I have a feeling that if i dont go there Im gonna starve

If its true they dont put salt on the food I wont really have a choice

from those of you who live there or those of you who went there

not to find monuments or anything grand like that but bars, restaurants, game centers u know those places that exist everywhere but a small amount of those r special somehow be it having delicious food, great environment, those places u can really enjoy yourself and relax.

I liked visiting Shibuya and Harajuku! Those two definitely have the biggest WOW factor.

Other than that, I would suggest getting a local guide to show you around. They'll know where a lot more of the interesting little places are.
