What women consider 'sexy' on a man.

So going by this, I'm all set.. except for the hair.. mine's short T_T

Aside from personality, the main things I find attractive about males are:

Appearance - the way they dress (or want to dress) is key about them as a whole. I'm not talking about fashion sense, I'm talking about how neat, clean, and defined their clothing is. I like grooming and fashion, and especially clothes since I work at a department store. Specific types of clothing can insinuate what the man is like personality-wise.

Appearance - the way the man physically looks in either an attractive or sexual way (yes, attractive and sexy are 2 different things to me). I love a rugged yet smoothed jawline, along with mild or trimmed facial hair. Tufts of chest hair are fabulous, but an abundance of chest hair just looks weird. I love hair, but length and attributes don't bother me, as long as the haircut suits their facial features. I love legs, especially the calves, and I like shoulders and sides/waists.

Their interests - what they like. Hobbies, interests, and personal tastes are what make or break my attraction. I don't care what kind of porn (to an extent) or music they like, or what kinds of video games or movies they like or if they play DnD (because honestly, I love all of the above), but if their favorite hobby involves completely bonkers or unfavorable things, such as... Gosh, I can't think of anything off the top of my head, aside from certain types of sexual interests that turn me off, but as long as their hobbies are in my personal range of what I consider tolerable, everything's all good.

I'm all but height and forearms. Oh and guitarist.

I slouch often and appear shorter than I really am, which is kinda weird.

A man who is presentable is the best kind of man. I do not mean the kind of person who frets about every little aspect of their appearance, but rather someone who can stand confidently in the knowledge that he is well groomed and prepared for the day.

For the personality of course faithfulness and humor. Some of my friends think that's not important but it is. I can't stand being around a guy who is always too serious, self-centered or slow in his head. Men I find attractive have to laugh about the same stupid jokes like I do >.< that's why interviews with stars are sometimes pretty interesting, because you can see if they can take a joke.

I'm just gonna operate on physical (versus behavioral) here, listed in order of what I find most attractive:

• Nice hands (supported by science: digit ratio): Long fingers, clean/trimmed nails, obvious-but-not-creepy skeletal structure, light callusing on the fingers, dexterity. Kind of my kink. Whenever someone asks, I just reply "but think of all the fun things such hands could do..."

• Voice: This one's hard to describe, but basically, not too nasally, not too deep, sounds generally age-appropriate (i.e. a twenty-something sounds like a twenty-something), tonally rich, a little raspy. A voice I'd really like to hear ragged and panting, or even better, snarling/growling. Bonus points if they can sing well; accents are hit or miss.

• Smell or lack thereof (supported by science: MHC): Fascinating topic, am able & willing to discuss this in more depth if people are curious): I have a sensitive nose, and I've literally gotten headaches sitting next to people wearing bad/too much cologne/perfume. The right scent on the right guy, however, is devastatingly sexy. I had a crush on a guy for months after meeting him in person only once mainly because whatever cologne he was wearing at that time made me want to jump him like mad.

• A little scruff: This is variable; I tend to prefer clean-shaven vs. beardage, but if the guy's face has the right structure for it, scruff is awesome.

• Hair that isn't too long/short: Rare is the man who can successfully pull off long hair, IMO. The ones who can look great doing it, though. Overall I just want it long enough that I can still tug on it a little ;). Hair color is usually a non-issue; natural or dyed, as long as the color suits the person's overall complexion/personality, I'm satisfied. Redheads tend to perk my interest, but not to the point of that being a kink.

• Toned arms: They're just hot, okay?

• Nice ass: ^

Things that are mostly physical but a little behavioral (i.e. they're physical cues that are attractive more by virtue of the attached behavioral presumptions/stereotypes than by pure sensory appeal):

• Glasses: Yup, I'm guilty of this...on some people it just looks fucking sexy. The attached stereotype is that the guy is smarter, which is a major turn-on for me.

• Being able to pull off wearing (masculine) jewelry: No real rationalization here either, haha. As long as there isn't too much of it, and it's not, like, Jersey Shore type chains/rings. Probably because to me wearing jewelry well says the guy in question is comfortable with his own sexuality/gender identity.

• Expressive eyes: To me this means the guy has something to say/an opinion on things, feels deeply, or both. Color doesn't matter much here, although green/hazel eyes are generally more interesting to me because my own are brown and boring.

• Ties: Socially-acceptable-to-wear-in-public restraints/blindfolds/gags in waiting! I love the implicit subversiveness of using a business attire accessory for decidedly non-business uses.

Also, I completely agree on sexy vs. attractive. There is a difference; I can find some of my guy friends phenomenally attractive, but not sexy, that is, I like the way they look but don't consider them viable sexual partners either due to behavioral/personality factors or just no chemistry/"zing." Someone could look like a dead ringer Joseph Gordon Levitt (my all-time standard for sexy) but if they're an asshole, they're no longer sexy in my book.
