What would you do if EMP strike the world?

I've been wondering for this for a quite while.
What would happen if there is an EMP strike was launch at the world, and fry all the electrical component in the world. What will ever happen to us and Fakku.
Let's us start this discussion.

Pretty sure this isn't the right section, but whatever.
If we were EMP-ed, I don't really know what I'd do. Riot in the streets, most probably.

I would hug my PC and TV for the last time..and say " We had a good time together"
But seriously this would be like an Armageddon for the World..So much electronics everywhere...were screwed without it

Majority of the time an EMP would only hit a small fraction of an Area, unless the thing causeing it is huge. Usually an EMP is a side effect of great explosions.
Its more likely we would die by the thing that cause it rather then the EMP itself.
In other words
a global wide EMP would most likely be caused by nukes going off in all corners of the globe. or some kind of astronomical effect from a distant star blowing up and making the planet fry/ and or something like that. Or a sun spot or something.
Things without EMP shielding would of course break. Unless they aren't affected. I think batteries and old cars wouldn't be affected.
Now what would happen to me if that were to happen right now?
Well I would probably waste away... it gets really hot here in Hawaii. Also all of our resources are based on power or using something that uses power. We have too many people and since there is no power we cant transport food. Food would go bad fast. Etc.

Write and draw to entertain myself, read a lot of stuff in the library before it's inevitably burned down, and learn to garden before the food crisis hits hard. Oh, and stockpile weapons.

First thing I would do is change my name to Crispy Critter.
After that probably take the rest of the day off.

I grew up in the bush, so I know how to live off the land so I wouldn't have a problem surviving...I would avoid cities and large towns like the plague.

Go out camping till the circuitry for my neighborhood was repaired. I live in Oregon and the hunting/Fishing are good.

I'd be screwed, I don't know the first thing about surviving in the wild. Not to mention that without Fakku and anime I pretty much wouldn't care about the world anymore.

Take my bike wherever I go and defend it with a gun if I have to. It would be chaos for a while, but since it is only electricity that is missing, I'm sure that order would eventually come. We've only had electricity for a relatively small amount of time (though we have formed our modern lives around it).
