What's the best thing that happened to you this 2011?

Getting in and out of a highly illegal operation unscathed, without getting in trouble and without leaving anyone wanting me dead. The "getting out"part is the impressive one really though. Shit I'll never go into again.

There recurring good things that happen to me but one of the best things to happen this year was making a Fakku account. The community here is awesome and not everything is solely focused on hentai, like I initially thought a forum on a hentai site would be like. I learned a lot by just reading threads and posting in SD, if anything that matters happens in the world a thread about it will turn up in IB or random, and there's a section (or at least a thread) about any topic I can think of thus far. I really enjoy this place.

I got a brand new guitar! Epiphone Les Paul 100, and I've learned how to play the blues quite a bit!

Visited my first anime/manga con.

I would have to say that is what was best about this year as well.
Though, I've been to many Anime cons before, this one was special because it was the first one I actually cosplayed :3

I passed without failing.

I got my love back.

Learning that I can talk to chicks and that they talk back too.

I got past the death of a loved one.

Going To Winter COMIKET 2011, in JAPAN !!!!

The first stirrings that indicate my recovery from brain damage suffered over a year ago. (I started reading a book. A rather hefty one, at that).

2011 has not been a good year for me =(
we moved in to a new house, losing my childhood friends=(
