Title is self-explanatory. Once a year in the Adirondacs where my parents live... Theres a town called Saranac Lake, very small town IMO. Well as I was saying once a year up in Saranac they have this Library sale (The downtown goes there there sells shit) and this one women makes this chocolate cake that I (And everyone else) buy in bulk xD She brings in about a box of cakes and sells them in like an hour. They're the godlies things I've ever tasted. Its the kinda food you squirm while eating because its so amazing. Its so moist and my god I haven't had it in a year (The sale is actually gonna start up in like a month) and I go up and stay with my parents and they get it (I don't go up for the cake its just I go up when the Library sale starts) I've been eating it for about five years. Great everytime my god its amazing.
So whats your favorite dessert?

Pineapple upside-down cake and key lime pie.
I will kill for that cake. I am not a big pastry person, or big dessert person (aside from ice cream,) but every birthday or other special event I make sure I've got myself a nice pineapple upside-down cake. ^_^
As for key lime pie, it's a pretty close second, if not a tie depending on my mood.

My favorite is a dish from my home, which we call mouse boats. There's apparently no English equivalent to it. It's a sort of hazel-walnut cake in the shape of a little boat, with some jam and a bit of chocolate frosting.
I do however also like these:

My gramma's coconut cake and my mom's cheese cake. They're the best goddamn deserts I've ever tasted.

Nothing quite as delicious as a well made mille feuille.
I also have a weakpoint for croissants; the real kind, not that lame stuff you usually get from stores that has been made with puff-pastry sheets.

My favorite dessert foods are (1) a chilled Camembert with strawberry syrup, (2) ham-and-cheese or cinnamon-glazed croissants, and (3) thinly-sliced green mangoes (unripe) with bagoong alamang (wet-variety thick shrimp paste).

I adore desserts, but my favourites would have to be Lemon Meringue Pie, Cinnamon Danish and Gypsy Tart.

Lastlya well made Halo-Halo

I'm wondering if that halo-halo pic is from Chowking ^_^
Anyway, their halo-halo sure is delicious, but sometimes I had to request the cashier to tell the kitchen guy that makes the halo-halo to not sprinkle it with pinipig/rice crispies. :D
