What's your opinion on piercings?

I think piercings are great. I don't have any (atm) but i think they're hot XD

I find it indecent. I'll probably opt for a tattoo than a piercing.

It's funny b/c tattoos are permanent whereas piercings are not .-.

[font=Verdana][color=green]Piercings are piercings. As long as they aren't too over-the-top, I like them on girls. I even had my ear pierced when I was a young'un myself; although the hole has virtually closed up.

I wouldn't get a piercing myself, but they can look cool as long as they don't go overboard. I know a guy at college that has 6 rings going across the side of both ears, a nose piercing, and a tongue piercing. Too much IMO.

I dont care for them, but I dont dislike all of them. I dont mind ear piercings or lip (single not double) but anything else is not really my thing (for others, or for me.) And no, I dont have any piercings myself, and I dont plan on getting any.

For guys, like you wouldn't believe. Not sure about women though. Pain killers help.

Now to the main point, I never understood what the point of piercing is. You are paying money to have a piece of metal jabbed though a part of your body. A friend told me in was to assert individuality, but when you look like every other guy with a piercing, what is the point.

I have five in my ears (considering getting two helix), I used to have a lip piercing but it got sliiightly infected, so I'm letting it heal now. I want to take two hip piercings in the future aaaaand I've been starting to consider getting a tounge piercing.
