When did you learn to start swearing?

When i was around 7 or 8. I think my first swear word was 'shit' I never swore around my parents though or i'd have been murdered.

People really take notice of this? o.O Have no idea when I learned my first curse word and used it, was probably pretty young. Would guess I started to use them more often in my speech during late elementary, early middle school I or summin like that.

Xil
Norse God of Sawdust
I didn't really, what you could say as, 'start' swearing until I was about 14/15. While I would curse periodically beforehand, I was always a quite, timid child.
Can you fucking believe that shit?

Back in nursery days, I heard a Truck Driver yelling Fuck You at an intersection. So, Thinking that Fuck You = Thank You, I said it to my childhood friend after she gave me crackers, instead of saying thank you, I said fuck you. Then she told the teacher about it and voila! I got 20 lashes from a leather belt.

I've been swearing since I was a kid, sooooooo fuck is heavily ingrained into my vocabulary now. I think it was 10 or 11 when I did it a lot because it was "cool".

Honestly speaking
Everyone was swearing in elementary school
I thought that was the same all around, but apparently my neighborhood is a little more outspoken then most

how you were raised influences a lot of things; same thing with the neighborhood where you live. gives greater diversity in my opinion 8D
i learned to swear when i was 4.

Early as shit, actually. Dad did a lot as a kid and I guess it wore off. I do control my swearing in public, but I let loose the rage-flap at home.

Jr. High probably. It was prevalent in elementary school, but I myself didn't quite pick up on it til 7th grade or so.

When I was little, I got really shocked when someone swore, then it started to be normal for me to swear once in a while.
Sometimes, swearing helps you explain the point of view you're trying to convey, or help you express some emotions regarding a subject.
I think it's stupid that people think it's really funny to get 2 year-olds swearing.Kids can be really rude these days.

I refrain from using profane language but it's impossible to go one day around my city without hearing it, so of course I know it when I hear it, and I do think some at times, but very rarely will you catch me say it aloud, as I don't find it very necessary, let alone becoming.
To answer the question, though, I'd say at about, like... age 12-ish? Learned it at school of course, as my living quarters have always had the same mindset as me and refrain from such language.
Ironically, I do find it nice to see in some manga though, as it gives it a certain edge (when it's called for, or even in some cases, not called for. Lol.), and of course it makes some comedians funnier when used in the right places (not when they just throw it all around--in which case, it's just in poor taste, imo.)
