When do girls get creeped out when confessed to?

Well i've heard alot of times from different people that no matter who the person is, the girl will always be flattered when a guy confesses to her.But When is it that girls get creeped out when guys try to ask them out?

When they're not girls anymore.
Unless you're a creepy guy. Then they'll always be creeped out.

When after "I've always loved you" comes something like "I know everything about you", even though she thinks they have just met. This is runaway-time.

when you say i love you then stick your tongue in their ear, this I find my biggest downfall, I mean I would be flattered if a girl put her tongue in my eat :p e..e

Asking to go out is cool and all, but a LOVE confession?
Out of the blue, it's like... "do I have to reciprocate this feeling right NOW?". I'd need to get to know the person more before I could make any conclusions. :)

Ohhhh well now that I think about it. It is creepy to confess all of a sudden... I was kinda thinking confess is trying to pick up someone for some reason.. I think girls get creeped out if the guy is either forceful, weird or unattractive(very very ugly)..

Times when it is completely inappropriate for someone to confess their love...let me see.
I met a guy while teaming up with a group on an MMO and leveled with him for a few hours. We chatted about life in general and mostly he told me about where he works and about his life and stuff. After we finished leveling, I told him I would talk to him later and added him to my friends list. After leveling or chatting with him 2 or so more times following that, he randomly dropped the "L" word. Since I had just met the guy I didn't return his sentiments and that totally set him off. He came off as being really pushy and it made me skittish.
I think by this period of time I had only talked to him 3 or 4 times max.
That set off massive red flags.

The nature of a confession is odd in of itself. It goes against the natural progression of a mature male-female interaction.
If you find someone attractive, you talk and interact with them to see if you're compatible. If there is no spark, you move on or become friends. If there is a spark, you keep it up, the tension and attraction builds naturally and things escalate quickly.
A confession is like a pushy sales pitch. Where they have to make the decision to buy in that moment...without knowing anything and/or having any feelings for the product in the first place. No one likes a pushy salesman.
