Which Apocalyptic future would you survive in?

A Life or Death situation will most often come across our path someday - but being human as we are we often say to hell with it and do everything in our power to get through it alive.

So if you were to choose, which kind of apocalypse would you find it most favorable for you to survive? And how would you survive it?

None. All men are gone and i'm the only man alive... also all the ugly chicks are gone too.

No Alien species scenario? Both the savagelike Xenos from the "Alien" films and the technology advanced like Predator and the Mass Effect franchises.

Zombie if anything. Besides the whole, get a lot of weapons like machetes and guns...

Easy to survive compared to the most, the zombies might be huge in number but not impossible to overcome with weapons. Probably plenty of people you can meet and team up, vehicles might prove useful as long as there is gas. Find a second floor of some sort, destroy any way up and you might be set for a while until your resources run low. Try to find people I can trust, if not, try to at least make a team and try to survive.

Also, its pretty much the only likely scenario you can survive, unless somehow the apocalyptic futures are plagued with Hollywood standards that is.

In a zombie apocalypse,
1) Food isn't scarce or ruined.
2) Your technology apocalypse description pretty much kills survival, unless its a huge group armed to the teeth.
3) You are screwed in the meteor one if the survivors don't know how to produce food at least. But there is a chance since the meteor does not sound radioactive.
4) Totally screwed on the nuke scenario since there could be mutated species and you can die from radiation. Death by time or by being killed and only large groups can survive.

There will be eventually a nuclear war, I have no doubt. People are foolish enough to louch rockets at eachother with nuclear warheads inside them.

You are actually right. Same thing pretty much, just change the specie. Just me loving the whole idea of wishing that aliens are real.

Also, I chose Nuclear Apocalypse. I say this because Zombie Ap. is just paranoia because they would infect you the moment you got scratched, so screwed. Meteor Ap. no vegatation, no food. Dead. And Technology Ap., sucks, Facebook Server and Fakku Server's trying to kill me. Couldn't fight back.

The easiest to survive in would be the zombie apocalypse for me I think. The one I'd rather enjoy would have to be the tech one though. It's the closest I'd get to a technocratic cyberpunk future.

Zombies seem easily handle than the rest.
Robot? too hard to fight them.
Meteor? No food? Er.. Hungry and die.
Nuke Mutation? Too hard to deal with it. Mutants withSuper speed or power, stuff like that.

You're joking right? Have you ever had it where something that is dead is walking around trying to eat you? I mean sure you can say "easy to handle" but I bet once a zombie comes up to you and starts to chase after you you'll shit your pants and have no clue what to do.

Other, Solar flare, grid failure.

the one i plan for is one for the 2012 scenarios, a massive solar flare of epic proportions that takes out every single piece of election equipment on the planet. a giant EMP so to say, the entire power gird, and ANYTHING that is on at the time it hits, including cars computers tvs radios ext ext. anything thats not turned on is safe but as the power gird is on 24/7 its fucked. and predictions on the repair time of the north american grid at 7 years minimum, its a grim scenario, i have plans for it happening in winter sence its the 2012 scenario i planed for and thats supposed to go down in December, i have plans for a summer occurance to, but eitehr way as i said its grim. the national infrastructure dissapears overnight, no coms no food no nothing. the first week after people realized shit has hit the fan is the most dangorus, as people will turn on eachother without a care in the world, killing for waht they need, to that point i believe i am prepaired for this scenario. all others usualy involved a spiked bit a of cool-aid as i dont plan on surviving a instant death scenario lol.

Either zombie apocalypse or technological apocalypse. Well I could end up either watching Battlestar Galactica or HOTD for help in those situations... May be even terminator. Anyway like in the other thread to do with zombie apocalypse living in the UK means a +5% in survival with the castles it has.

meh. as far as zombie apolocplsyes goes, i got it easy. north dakota is full, and i mean FULL of old nuke siolos, 3 foot thick steal doors with naught but a padlock left on em, infact my uncle, who is a bit rich, and nutso. bought and renovated a old one. turned it into a fallout-shelter. so im sure id be able to survive a zombie apocolapyse there. but on the otherhand i would die in the first wave of nukes alone with the rest of ND as most of americas nuclear aresonal is still concentrated there
