I was going to make my own thread, but I remember seeing this here. So forgive me for bringing it back to life. This has now become relevant.

My team was eliminated before the fun began (The Red Sox, a choke even worse then the 07 Mets). If I had to choose now based on seeing one game, I'd chose the Phillies. They looked unbelievable yesterday.

Three consecutive aces in a 5 game series, plus Oswalt. And that offense. They look scary good right now.

If the Phillies don't win the WS, I'll be shocked for life. Their pitching should be enough to carry them to victory.

well its down to the cards and the Rangers...I say Rangers, the cards have been here before and have won before. The Rangers have never won so I think they have the best shot, plus with the way Nelson Cruz is crushing the ball that pushes them ever so closer.

It's kinda stupid that the Wild Card team has home field advantage because of the All-Star Game rule. Texas should have the advantage because they were the better team throughout the season.
