Started playing a couple days ago and I'm quite addicted (which is turning out catastrophic since I'm in the middle of the exam season and all I can think about is this game), so I strongly recommend this. Even if you're weirded out by the concept, try it out. I was pretty skeptic at first but now I really am enjoying it.
Finished Emi's route first - was surprisingly better than I thought. Now I'm about to have an H scene with Lilly and I just fell in love with her during this route. Lilly's too awesome guys... When she starts crying and says multiple times she loves you, I nearly lost it...
Oh and a friend showed me this earlier and I laughed too hard:

Hanako for the win simply becuz she hits all my weak spot and her story line was awesome seeing how she changes as you progress. shocked by her worst end though.

Shizune is the best! The fact that she can't hear makes her mysterious and she looks cute with her oval glasses.

Well I have been lurking around this site for around 3 years, and I created an account so I could say Katawa Shoujo Is [color=red]AMAZING![/color] I'm also hopping that I could get some good recommendations. [color=red]=D[/color]

This VN was so full of immersion that when I finished one story to go the the next I missed the previous girl because it felt like we never met all over again which was doublely sad for Hanako. Hanako was without a doubt my favorite but Emi is a close second.

If it's the torrent, you'll need to open the .torrent file with a BitTorrent client and use that to download the actual game. If you don't know and can't figure out how to use one, use a DDL link instead. Not sure how many still work after the Megaupload death, but at least the one on my own site should still be OK. Just look through this thread or the User Uploads thread to find one.

Played Emi,Hanako,Rin,Lily's routes have to say the most I liked was Lilly's.When I'l have some time il play with Shizune too.

Hanako, because she is Emo Moe!. . . . God i still can't Believe i Finish the whole route in 5 hours last 2 years

Hanako all the way! She was my favorite in the Act 1 demo already, and now that I finished her route, I like her even more. It helps that I can identify with her pretty well.
Lilly is great too, though.
