Why South Korean Electronics Are Now The Cutting Edge
0
Before the eclipsing of Japanese hardware standards by the uprising of South Korean computer technologies, consumers of Southeast Asian electronics had deemed that Japan was the technological superpower of the world, and that South Korea, China and the Philippines, who were competing with Japan, were not nearly to the standards that Japan had set. However, following the nuclear reactor meltdowns in Japan caused by the largest magnitude earthquake they have had in years, their electronics market was not the primary focus. For South Korea, their focus shifted to commercial and consumer electronics and over the course of less than a year, their hardware and software standards would far surpass that of Japanese technologies, and by the end of spring in 2012 they were officially recognized as the technological superpower of the current modern world.

I dunno, Korea was the leading country in cell phone technologies (Samsung and LG come to mind) for a while. Not to mention Japan has a much bigger focus on video games and animation. There arent that many gaming and animation companies in Korea compared to Japan, at least ones that have a large international market.
Koreans mainly play american pc games.

Its a possibility.
Scratch that.
But nice to know anyway. The problem here is that there is no subject, just an assertion.
