I like to cosplay, so I started going as Fakku Girl (Momoka). I get to meet people who use the site depending on who recognizes me. I find that even more fun.

I would love to meet Fakku users, But I do not believe that I would consider hanging out with them after meeting...

Oh mah gerd! This is so freaking random! It must be more than coincidence be wise just today, as I was coming out of my office building from work. Some guy at the metro bus station was waiting for him bus IN A FAKKU SHIRT! I just HAD to stop him and high five him. We exchanged user names and I told him I had the hen-tie shirt. But the even cooler thing is right as I log on today THIS just so happened to be the pole! Coincidence? ?? I THINK NOT! fakku fate more like. Now, if I could just remember his username lol

No offence, but a good chunk of this community in my opinion are poisonous, and nasty.
So, no thanks.

Like everything else in the world, there are gonna be people you prob not gonna get along in any group. I personally would like to meet some Fakku people in my age generation. My chance to make friends slipped away when I was at the Fakku Booth. Plus couldn't went to the Fakku panel as well.
I was at Anime Boston for 2012 and 2013. I got to meet some people, but never exchange information as I didn't know how to approach. Kinda the same when trying to make friends in similar cases. I was able to talk to Jacob and the other Fakku staffers( sorry still have a hard time remembering their faces and names). They nice people and very "for real". both years didn't yield new friends. But was able to bump into one person consequently(not fakku from what I know) at anime boston. She was someone I first met at Arcade in a casino in CT playing DDR. So it was pretty neat.
I think most of us do want to, but it is always the how is the problem. It is hard to meet in a situation to talk about it in public. Maybe in a more less crowd area would be fine.

If I knew any, I might, but otherwise not really. I'm not into the whole "being around strangers" thing. Makes me uncomfortable :3
