I used to do that for a bit, then it just became really sad how gullible people can be. So I gave up out of pity.

I don't use female avatars because I find it difficult to differentiate gender with them. I first assume that people with girl avatars are females and guys use male avatars, but either way it doesn't matter. Avatars are suppose to represent the kind of person you are; not what you like, you got the signature for that.

There was once a time where I willingly cybered with a girl who was lying about being a guy who was pretending to be a slutty catgirl. She still sometimes ask for cyber.

I'm a male and have an avatar with a male and two females in it so I can't vote. Thanks for excluding me. As for MMO's I tend to have a pretty balanced approach. Also the gender just depends on the concept for the character I have in my head.
