I'm a fan of Howard Jones. That said, I don't think I really have a favorite singer. I just like certain songs. I don't really care who sings them. One that does come to mind though is Neal Morse. His personal songs, Spock's Beard and Transatlantic are amazing.

Favorite girl singer- Greta Salpeter ( from the hush sound )
Favorite guy singer- it's between John Gourley (Portugal the Man) and Anthony Green (Circa Survive/ The Sound of Animals Fighting)
I wish I could include Jack white in there cause he's probably my favorite all around musician ever... So kudos to him haha
but actually the best showman lead singer would probably be Kevin Barnes of Of Montreal

the sound of animals fighting is an amazing experimental rock group comprised of members of many different bands that come together and wear animal masks and have animal identities ( like Anthony green akay favorite guy vocalist is in this band and he is known as THE SKUNK... Super epic)
Portugal the man is alaskan rock goodness.
Jack white is... White stripes and dead weather and racentours. An alt rock god
of Montreal is one of the best livebands In the world. They are very fun and poppy and psychedelic and everchanging and theatrical and.. Yey
