I had an astronomy class that was actually pretty interesting. Though I'd like to say art but my class was full of pretentious hipster faggots.

English Language when I was younger because I have always loved writing and still do, though I was the only one who actually did any work and the only one who listened to the teacher. The retards in the class ruined it. Hated pretty much every other subject.
At the minute, at A Level, it's probably Sociology.

Torts.
Every day had a surprisingly interesting case, usually ones involving wacky circumstances.
Also, that McDonald's coffee case actually makes a ton of sense.

I liked Math and Biology too.
I immensely hated History and Geography because i had no interest for them and my brain was HORRIBLE at memorizing "Dates" and "Places" :P

That's how it is a lot of the time: people learning the language are usually better at it then a lot of natives. There are many people who I know that can't spell well at all or just sound like retards when they speak.
I was so bad at maths. I had to get extra classes because I was so bad, and thanks to her I was able to pass. Would have been a disaster without her.
Never been a fan of history either, I don't have a lot of interest in it. That's why I know hardly anything about my own country's past, as well as others. I didn't enjoy Geography that much either.

Once again I'm the same as you.
I know the bare minimum about my own country's past and practically CLOSE TO NOTHING about other ones'.
Only the past couple of years I've improved a little my general Geography knowledge.

Reading manga and lurking on different internet forums has helped me A LOT with my English.

Those "ss" and "pp" spellings can be annoying.
And yeah, reading online is a great way of increasing your knowledge and understanding of the language. Any kind of reading is good, and it's essential as I've found with Japanese. You really start to understand how things are structured and put together when reading real text in the language (not found in many language courses) and then apply it in writing.
Have you tackled any novels?

What do you mean to tackle a novel? reading?
If you mean reading, then I've read only mangas and VNs but not books in English.

Ok.
And:
Tackle - Make determined efforts to deal with (a problem or difficult task).

So you meant to read and thoroughly comprehend a Novel, right?
If so, I've read a few mangas that were somehow difficult to understand.
