Your New Year's Resolution
0
I know that this thread has existed every year many times. But then again, it never hurts to ask people about their New Year's resolutions. So, it's time to make a thread about next year's (soon to be this year's) resolutions. My resolutions are as stated below.
1) To study hard in first year of uni life.
2) To survive a year with four seasons for the first time.
3) To exercise more often.
4) To eat more & faster.
5) To be a little more sociable.
6) To learn to be more independent.
7) To be less lazy.
8) To find that special someone.
I hope that I will follow these resolutions as the year goes on, but that's what I always say every time I make a resolution. Time to boost up my determination level. Might as well put a few lists of these resolutions around as a reminder.
So what about everyone here? I'm certain that everyone here has resolutions of their own. Are you determined enough to fulfill your resolutions for the year 2013?

You don't need to wait until the start of a new year to improve things.Interesting resolution.

You don't need to wait until the start of a new year to improve things. You're right about that. Pretty much people got into the hype of being motivated into improving things every time a new year starts (including me). But most of the time people already lost that hype after a few months at most.
Then again, resolutions are like reminders in your life. The only thing different is that they're on longer terms.

A few
1) Loose weight- I've regained some of my weight during the holidays so I'll be on a diet for the next few weeks.
2) Get off Probation in College: I'm on Probation in college due to completion being 64%. I dropped courses before going back full time. I need to get to 67% to get off Probation. My GBA is fine however (hovering around 3.5).
3) Rethink my Major- I've completed most of my general education courses but my major is different story (It is currently civil engineering. I'm currently working for my AA right now). I'm in fact starting to think about going into film and film editing because I took some courses in film as part of my general education requirement (art courses) and I loved it.

Get in better shape. I used to be kinda skinny and played Ice Hockey once or twice a week. Now I'm lazy and I'm starting to get a bit of a gut.

[color=#006FFF]'Suppose, if I were to have any--I usually don't bother with resolutions and just work on things about myself on the spot--they'd probably be...
1. Be more sociable; I've been working on it for a while, so there's only a few more wrinkles to iron out.
2. Work out; it's a maybe though, since it's not much of an issue for me as much as just something I'd like to do if I have time.
Other than that, I'll work on things as they come. Considering the number of games I'll be buying early this year however, I don't expect to start up that second idea any time soon, lol.

Not exactly workout, but tone my body a bit more. I'm already slender with a toned frame but I think that just a little more would be good for some reason.
That aside, I wonder how many New Years resolutions are ever actually completed.

I made a resolution years ago to not make resolutions anymore. I'm happy to say, I've stuck with it.

Seeing how I just flunked out of college. I guess it's back to the drawing board.
Finish mastery of the Japanese language. Comprehension is good, reading is shit. Need to work on that.
Get a job and pay off some of my loans.
Go to another college and try another major outside the sciences, maybe attempt a degree to become a teacher.
