Which teaches more wisdom?!!!
Edit: what I really mean- Considering the qualities in both, which do you personally like better?!
They are both stories that are ment to be taken with a grain of salt. They exist to make us address our faults, and to teach us lessons about life. One is people, the other, animals.
I was fortunate enough to have a mother and father who read to me all the fairy tales of the world thruout my childhood, Japan, china, Germany, iceland, many cultures. I think it helped me develops early on the feeling of "out there" that hits many people much harder later on in life.
I wonder, which is more useful to read a child, to illustrate life lessons?

Either way has its own faults, you can't really judge which one is better.
If people say one is better, most likely its subjective.
Just like how you say "Which one is better? Pancake or Waffles?"
People will answer Pancakes because they like the softness and the structure. Some will say Waffles because the resistance of waffles and etc etc.
It's hard to get an objective answer regarding this kind of topic.

Hmm. Those who are religious and all may probably be biased to say the Bible.
I haven't really read Aesops fables except for The Fox and The Grapes.
I like the Bible for having stories such as The Prodigal Son, however there are some parts that I really can't comprehend to. I'm not really religious, perhaps that's why...

I'm not religious, but i would say the bible. Ignoring all the stuff about worship it is primarily a book on rules to govern a moral society. The only issue is comprehension, so for children the fables would be better because they seem easier to understand at younger ages.

The bible has stolen so much from other places. i read somewhere that thing about give a fish feed for a day, teach to fish feed for life is an ancient chinese proverb that predates the old testament by like 1k years. i think there might be one or two of aesop's in there.
i think kids are better off with aesop's fables than the bible. at least aesop doesn't tell them to stone people or make sacrafices.

Neither. If you're going to tell someone (doesn't have to be a child) a story with a life lesson or moral of some kind in it don't use some convenient outlet. Just tell a story you personally experienced.
Example: Lying
The best place for wisdom and life lessons for a child is their parents and/or people who surround him/her. Its much more meaningful to hear a true story from someone the child knows than from any (potentially) made up book. Its important to note such stories are meant to supplement his/her own experience and not replace it.
