America's debt problem

Here's one method that would help in the long term: Get the stupid Americans to actually care about politics and actually pay attention to who they're voting into Congress. I can understand the purpose of some small tax cuts, but the amount given throughout history has seriously crippled our reserves. If the public actually watched the country that was for us and by us, I doubt the country would be anywhere near as bad as it is now.

On another note, I'd be happy if the United States was no longer the most powerful. This country is getting way too arrogant and could use another powerful country to keep it in check.

I would say limit welfare spending only to those who need it. But that would probably cost the political party who implements that their future forever. After all tons of money are spent to take care of lazy shiz who don't bother to get a job and smoke crack all day while other people are working 3 jobs and their asses off to make a living honorably even though they also had the option of chilling all day.

The American people are a big cause of the debt problems we can't spend our money wisely and we don't know how to use credit cards (which causes a large portion of debt) and we don't know how to regulate our own spendings. America's schools need to teach kids how to save money and how to use credit cards. Also we need to learn not elect based on political party or race or gender and elect based on what America needs and not what each party wants.

It pretty much highlights the problem with humans and money and why everyone is in debt and we're in a global recession. Humans love to shift the blame from themselves to someone else but at the end of the day the reason why we're as a country and nation are in debt is because of our own personal grievances and greed.

The doco pretty much says that the entire system in what economics is based upon, all the math equations etc are all massively flawed and set up to fail due to our human nature.
