Bullshit US Court System Circle Keeps on Spinnin'

Little Lupe Viewer Almost Gets 20 Year Sentence
So here's the deal. Guy gets caught with a DVD of Little Lupe. Charged with cp. Spent two months in jail. At the trial, however, Little Lupe came to his rescue, proving she was of age in the DVD.
While this shows the truly awesome nature of a porn star, it also shows the horribly bullshit nature of the US court system. God dammit will this nonsense ever end? How many innocent lives has the court ruined by now? I hope you're proud, Uncle Sam.

It is the worst system...except for all the rest. It's the best, but that does not mean good.

Wouldn't the pediatrician who _testified_ Lupe was underage get slapped with perjury?
At the very least, he should be disbarred for not fucking knowing what a child is.

Comprehend what you read. His trial was in Puerto Rico. He was arrested by US Customs Agents. US Marshals' helped Little Lupe go to Puerto Rico to testify.
It is the Puerto Rico court system.
Carlos Simon-Timmerman, a pizza-delivery guy from Brooklyn, was put on trial in Puerto Rico
US marshals paid for her trip because the lawyer had served her with a subpoena

All of you who complained about this travesty of justice by the US Courts systems are plain f**king stupid.

Well, the courts are based on humans, and humanity is easily corruptible and misled. That said, I wouldn't want to live in any other country than America. IMO, we have the best judicial system, and despite it's flaws, it is serviceable.

I find it more amusing that people still link the law with justice.
Law does mean justice.
EDIT: Law doesn't mean justice. Didn't spell it right.

Unless otherwise stated in a specified law that Puerto Rico is exempt. All Federal laws are as legally binding to Puerto Ricans as they would be to a New York or someone from North Dakota. P.R. is an American territory. American Federal Laws are binding in U.S. territories like the Virgin Islands and P.R.
Also the charge was possession of Child pornography. Which is a Federal Law. Just as binding in P.R. as it would be in Arizona.
On topic: The American legal system isn't the greatest but, it isn't the worst. The entire system is simply in dire need of a remodeling and extensive reforms covering just about every detail you can imagine.
The books need cleared and the language simplified as well. You shouldn't have to have a legal degree or hire someone with such a degree to read the paperwork so you can know if you can legally put a pool in your backyard or erect a garage.
Gibbous put the phrase a lot more eloquently and I fear I butchered his words trying to repeat them. I know the quote is sitting somewhere at home...mocking me.

The last time I checked, Puerto Rico was a dominion of the United States. I just assumed the judicial system would be similar to the US.
