Can men and women just be friends?
Do you think men and women can just be friends?

I think it's fine for girls to have friends of the opposite sex while having a boyfriend. Though I have a friend whose ex let her friends of the opposite sex touch her tits, her excuse was that it was just playing around.Being the hot head my friend is, the relationship did not last long.
Hmmm I have a question. If you see your girlfriend post pictures on her facebook with her sleeping next her guy friends during a get together how should you react? Is it okay to become mad?

You can call me an asshole, but I don't believe in friendship between men and women, and I won't give any attention to those ones I see in "nonsexual way" (not my type, etc.). Treating nice everyone means treating nice nobody, as for me.
Recently I had a conversation with my best friend (we both were quite drunk), and he told he had been in love with his childhood fried, but didn't confessed for years because he always was only a "friend" to her, and he thought that she will notice his feelings eventually. Then I asked her (she was quite drunk too, lol), what she thinks about all this "friendship" stuff, and she said that she can't see him as a man because he is her FRIEND, so she won't take ani action or something...
I don't really hate her lol, but can't stand this way of thinking - dividing MEN and FRIENDS. Just don't become friends with men you won't ever consider as MEN.

I used to be really jealous of my gf when she was to hang out with male friends, and nowadays, i really don't mind.
It's just a matter of how much you trust your partner, really.

If the question asks if there will be sex in the friendship, I can say hell yes.
If the question asks if can people of opposite sex can be friends and limit their relationship to that, I can say yes.
If the question asks if men and women can be friend, as to set aside differences in gender and co-exist, I also say yes.

Would you be jealous if your partner had friends of the opposite sex?Not jealous, just aware of the relationship. I don't see anything wrong with it, I have a few friends that are female that I'm not attracted to.
That's not saying I wouldn't be tempted to do something if they came on to me. That's where being loyal would have to come in.

Can a straight guy have a straight female friend (and vice versa), without it ever turning into something romantic, and without either party wanting it to ever become romantic?
To answer this question, let's think about bisexuals.
Bisexuals are attracted to both sexes. So, if it is possible for a bisexual to have a good friend, without any sort of romance involved, then it's possible for a man and a woman to be friends. Just because there may be a sexual attraction between the sexes, it doesn't mean that every person of one sex is going to be sexually attracted to every person of the other sex.
Every guy won't want to fuck every woman, and vice versa. So why can't they be friends?

Men and women can be friends its when ex's come into play that it gets difficult. My bf wants to be friend with his ex but I know she still likes him so I hate her, and he tells me I'm just being silly and jealous.

Honestly, people who are jealous about their guy or girl hanging with friends from the opposite gender, need to grow up and get over it. It's not like they didn't have those friends before you hooked up. It's not like every guy who has a female friend will fuck said female friend even if he has a girlfriend or vice verse.
I mean really it's not just this thread I keep hearing sane, rational people, saying one of the best things for a guy to do is not talk about his female friends while with his girlfriend. And at the same time saying that girls shouldn't talk about guy friends with their boyfriend. So... Basically to be happy in a couple, never talk about your friends? Just sit there and not talk about any friends of the opposite gender? What about gay couples with the same gender friends?
Seriously... Get over it... Not everyone of the opposite gender (or the same gender for those who are gay), have sex with each other and everyone else just from being friends... Hell it's the strangers you should worry about anyways, am I right?

I voted Female-Yes....
My best friend is male and my boyfriend ist a lil bit jealous caused of this friendship.
But in my opinion, an my bf knows that, there's no reason for it.
I'm a independent girl, I live my freedom and no guy can control me neither own me.
Especially all ppl who know me, know that I'm a very faithful person.
PPL who don't accept an "opposite gender" -friend, do not respect their "better part".

I voted wrong on the poll, due to lack of reading all the words and it being 4:30am.
I thought I was voting if you'd be jealous if your boyfriend/girlfriend was friends with the opposite sex.
So I had voted Female - no, but it should be Female - yes.
A lot of my friends are male, so far Fpod hasn't expressed anything against that. He also has a female friend which I don't really care about.
People have a lot of insecurities about themselves, and typically jealousy boils down to insecurities.
But, whatever.
People who are sexually interested in every single person they encounter and form a type of relationship (friendship, etc) - uh... I don't know what to think about that, I'm just glad I don't experience that inconvenience.

My fault. i made the poll just before going to sleep, and i was having trouble getting the fourth option to show up. this is acctualy the third or fourth version of the poll, and my original thoughts kind of got distilled down.
