3 Part plan:

1. Kill most of the Earth's population

Hardest part of the plan. You need a method on killing humans quickly, plus repel/kill those pesky heroes. Remember to leave a few remaining survivors.

2. Control the survivors

Easiest part of the plan. Because of fear they will mindlessly follow you. Kill anyone who attempts revenge. Make yourself look godly compared to your minions so they will instinctively believe you are beyond their reach.

3. Rape as much as you want, repopulate earth, and make a legend of yourself.

Pretty much the fun part. What you want your story to be will be written as is. Boning can be repetitive, but with a creative mind, making sex more interesting won't be that hard. Ps: kill anyone who is against you, EXCEPT if the crowd likes him/her. Befriend him/her and make them your ally. His/her followers will be under you w/out wasting any military effort. Also, don't hire a sarcastic bastard to do your biography; he'll make shit out of it.

It would be fairly easy to take over the world.

However, every time someone attempts it, they make a CRITICAL mistake.

I've spent many a long daydream perfecting my plans for world domination. Then I found a gold mine.

My ventilation shafts will be too small to crawl through.

The artifact which is the source of my power will not be kept on the Mountain of Despair beyond the River of Fire guarded by the Dragons of Eternity. It will be in my safe-deposit box. The same applies to the object which is my one weakness.

One of my advisers will be an average five-year-old child. Any flaws in my plan that he is able to spot will be corrected before implementation.

I will keep a special cache of low-tech weapons and train my troops in their use. That way -- even if the heroes manage to neutralize my power generator and/or render the standard-issue energy weapons useless -- my troops will not be overrun by a handful of savages armed with spears and rocks.

I will not imprison members of the same party in the same cell block, let alone the same cell. If they are important prisoners, I will keep the only key to the cell door on my person instead of handing out copies to every bottom-rung guard in the prison.

I can't imagine myself controlling the world. But damn, I can imagine it being controlled by women. You see, all of this is a conspiracy. Even in our school, where most of the student council are females!

I'm not totally sure but in my opinion it's currently impossible to do so.

1. In a world with different culture one ruler isn't enough to understand all races.

2. Geographically, the world is too big for one man to facilitate. Because of this, the one man ruler would have to entrust power to someone else because he himself isn't omniscient.

3. We're separated by bodies of water which makes it hard for a ruler to send troops to a location within a week (or sometimes months). If he does send troops it will deplete resources which will gradually weaken his empire which may soon lead to collapse.

Right. Ethnocentrism might occur.

To rule the world would most likely require some method of brainwashing as that could eliminate the problems of religion, rebellions, and disloyalty.

Not possible unless you end the world first. Fewer people to break.

Serious answer: I think its possible to some point. Sure cause a nuclear war and a bunch of other types of war and a country will prevail afterwards, but I seriously doubt that country will have the resources to control the world.

Its possible but will be hard ill unite all the small countries lunch attacks on the bigger ones join them to my cause assemble armies one bigger than the last and when I have enough power join japan then continue to to take over the world so I can create the united states of japan for I am kyuby7 the one who will destroy the world and recreate it.

Try creating as much chaos as possible in multiple countries, then the UN would be forced to combine all member nations into one super nation.

I think it's more than possible to conquer the world's peoples. Over the centuries a lot of different people have come close. It's not possible to control the world, though. The world is just too vast for one person or regime to manipulate completely to their own will. Even if a small group of people annihilated all the rest discord would ensue. Hell, even if only ONE person existed, said person would discover just how little control they actually had. Even nature would find a way to rebel.

In most cases control is simply an illusion.

Possible, but you cannot sustain it for long. You'd need at least 1/50th of the world population loyal to you to have a chance of maintaining control.

1/50 =.= That is a big amount.

Not really, even within Germany he delegating power amoung set individuals rather than directly "control" Germany himself. Besides it seems unlikely that everyone on the world would be as faithful to him as the minority of Germans that were, considering that the size of Germany in comparison to the entire world it is fairly small, I'd say he'd have his hands full with rebellious persons.

The real way to take over he world is cookies.

Currently yes, i do believe it to be impossible, but who knows what tomorrow holds?
