Extended Life, Immortality, or Average Life?

Extended Life. Live for a few centuries to see how humanity evolves and carries the world with it. Then when I inevitably grew too disappointed and enraged with the situation of humanity I could at least die in a blaze of glory as I attempted to bring as many of the offending party with me.

Extended life. I would want to live for more than 1000 years. Il try to learn every single thing in this world. And see if I'll still be sane. It would be cool if you would end up in one of those stories where technology is lost in the future and your the only one left who got to experience it or knows how to use it

I think extended life would be fun. But I dont want to be immortal, you would outlive everything you love and eventually be alone =3

This is a tough answer I would probably chose immortality tell dark matter eventually tears everything apart.
the reason i chose this is cuz I have an unquenchable thirst for power and knowlege to the point where somtime I think I'm going crazy.
No seriously my teacher made us write a bucket list and take over the world was the first thing on my list and if i lived forever I could do that and when this planet dies i could just drift off to the next life sustaining planet and rule that one and then the next one and the next one untell of course the universe is torn apart by this substance know as dark matter(google it) then after that there is nothing to rule.

Average life. I'd rather not see what evolution causes, or what happens in order for evolution to take place (my bet is a violent process).
I'd rather much live the life I was given.

I want to be immortal. I know that everyone you love will age around you, I want to live as long as I can without aging...

I would choose immortallity and the only thing that'd be able to kill me is my own will to live. I guess Life in itself is immortal but whatever it encompasses(humans, animals, plants, etc) it'll eventually give way to death.

Immortality, not able to age but I'll be able to grow even further and faster in terms of height and strength. I should be also choose when I die because if otherwise, it'll all be pointless.

I say extended life. I like to see on the world change, watch my offspring(...I will get laid one time or another and make some v.v) life.
Immortality? Seem like a curse, seing everyone or you're love one dying before your eye. Be alone in a strange world. Saying to youngster(with a older tone& a cane poiting): 'In my time...video game where on a screen, not int your head(what, like to see videogame becoming immersive)'

These are my sole reasons why I would even think about immortality.
Human minds cannot comprehend the meaning of 'forever'.
I want to surpass that. Through the process of 'Methuselization'.
The Methuselah Foundation is just that. It even awards people the Methuselah Mouse Award for breakthroughs in longevity and body rejuvenation.

it depends on how long my body can handle nature. I dont want to be an immortal with my body useless. I mean your alive but u r bedridden and cant move due to old age.
I just want to have an extended life like 100+ so that i can beat the record of the world's oldest man. But as far as I can see now, spending all the time just sitting around and browsing the internet and not really doing things. Its a 50-50 chance that' ill reach that 'extended life'. because, the key to a long life is good lifestyle.

I think extended life would be ideal. Normal life span is too short in my opinion and immortality is not an option. For without death, there can't truly be life. Something like... 300 years? Yes, that sounds appropriate. I could go for 1000 too, but I'm too young to think that far ahead.

There's a few projects working on it. Most likely we'll see some results in our lifetime. They think they can do the "living long and healthy" form of immortality, but remember: act dumb, die dumb. No matter how healthy we are, long life =/= invulnerable.

If my body condition is good/perfect throughout my life, I would not mind an extended life. I mean, I am sure that no one wants to live to 300 hundred years, spending their last 200 blind, deaf, mute, cannot move a muscle, in constant pain, yet just refuses to die. That's hell.
If my body goes down like normal people, an average/short life is enough.
For those who chose immortality, think about it: even if you remain 25 forever, your lovers, children, grandchildren, friends will all age and die before you. Imagine the pain and loss. Normal people can perhaps only experience 1 or 2 large betrayals and hurtful events. If you continue to associate with people, you will encounter such things endlessly. How civlisations rise and fall? They are all the same. Rise when the previous civilisation is corrupt and too explotative. Fall when this regime becomes too corrupt. You will see wars and more wards fought over nothing but the profits of those in power. The poor will suffer and suffer, and if some poor people happen to become rich, they will go back and exploit the poor once again. The ugliness of human nature will hit you fully in the face. If you can handle and rejoice in that, kudos to you, but I think people should stop associating with you for their own safety.

An average fulfilling life is more than I can ask for. I try to live optimally as much as I can on anti-histimines :p

I want to have an Immortality life like a vampire. I want to see what the future is like untill the day when Earth is destroyed and I will die.
