Girl Uses Hammer on Children
-1
German woman Christine S. (32) has been accused of brutally beating two children to death with a hammer, supposedly out of jealousy. The student from Hannover is accused of killing Max (3) and Saga (1), the children of her ex-boyfriend Torgny H.'s new girlfriend.
The children's mother, Emma J. (24), survived the brutal attack but was severely injured and lay in a coma for two weeks. It is supposed that the horrifying murder was committed as an act of revenge.
A smiling Christine S. (32) entered the courtroom on Wednesday July 30, looking as relaxed as if she were on the beach, wearing a loosely-buttoned blouse, sunglasses and flip-flops.
The prosecution spent over four hours describing the brutal killings and the supposed motivation behind them. "You never got over your break-up with Torgny H.," the prosecution lawyer told the accused woman.
Christine met the Swede two years ago on the island of Crete. In her daily journal she wrote: "Torgny drank too much the first time we had sex… but after that, I had the best sex of my life with him." Half a year later, Torgny broke off contact with her.
During the lawyer's speech, the accused fanned herself with documents, made notes and grinned constantly.
The lawyer added: "Torgny came home shortly before 19:00… found his stepchildren in the foyer and his girlfriend Emma bleeding profusely in the bathroom."
In shock, Torgny called an ambulance. The tape of his emergency call was played in the court room. "Max… Max… S**t, those look like holes, like hacked holes. What the hell is going on here…"
The audio tape of the man's sobbing telephone call continued for ten minutes. The court room was deathly quiet. Some listeners began to cry. One court officer held his ears shut.
Christine's German lawyer Tanja Brettschneider said: "The prosecution only presented evidence but offered no concrete argument."
If convicted, the suspect Christine S. may face lifelong imprisonment. (She had fucking better.)

Yeah, this happened a while back, a year or so. after she was tested and recieved the evaluation that she was in fact not mentally unhealthy she was sentenced to life in prison and then banishment from Sweden, since a lifelong imprisonment here means around 20 years or something like that, I'm not that into the judicial system to know exactly how it works.
I remember that this case awoke a lot of emotions here in Sweden and everyone had something to say about this. Sadly enough media managed to blow this case out of proportions and you couldn't believe half of what was published about it.
Still, this shit is just awful. I remember that the German girl made a huge deal about how she and the husband/father(Torgny) still loved eachother and that she had felt that she needed to remove the obstacle that hindered them from fully expressing their love for eachother. Just what are one thinking as they bash the head of his small children? "Oh, this guy I like has a wife and kids, if I stalk him from Crete to Sweden and kill them he might start going out with me right?"

Don't take this the wrong way, but first a good advise. If you ever want facts - NEVER quote a boulevard press. The media likes, as has been mentioned earlier, to blow things out of proportions and a serious newspaper, radio report won't give you a report like the one you posted.
But to the post, I don't actually feel anything about it. For me, I have come to accept the world and people as they are in that state, there will always be someone snapping and doing whatsoever, there will always be something that goes wrong, so I won't pretend to fake emotions here.
It might sound harsh, but there are way worse problems in the world, that are easier to spot and cure than the jealousy of a person, so I note it as just another case of something happening in my country that can be found thousands of times, everyday around the world.

Wow, I'm from Germany and this is the first time I ever heard of this o_O
Seriously, there's a lot of s*it like this going on recently. Babies in the freezer, babies in the trash can and stuff, it's really getting out of hand over here because some people (the overwhelming majority being women) can't handle their own problems.
It's like a virus spreading, more and more cases of killed children pop up every year... disgusting!

We'll I'm not finishing my breakfast today.
So, let me get this straight. A woman bludgeons two children and a woman to death. Only to receives twenty years?
dot. dot. fucking dot.
The punishment for murdering innocents (above all children) in such a brutal fashion should include the line "never to see the light of day again". I have to criticize the swedes for being too light handed here. She's clearly unsafe to have walking about even if she'll be in her 50's by the time she's released.

I totally agree with FPoD. That woman is just dangerous. If she can hammer innocent children for such simple reason, she's unsafe.

Yea, this is what you call a real life Yandere.
The fact she held no shame and was proud of herself for her act is just simply disgusting, but that's implied. I don't think there's a person here who would disagree.

Yeah I guess so ziggy, it does seem completely different in real life.
Ive never heard of banishment before, extradicted yeah, interesting.
From the description, doesnt this make her a sociopath, meaning she does qualify as a mental case?

I totally agree on that the system here in Sweden is way to light, from what I've heard to that grade that many criminals from outside of here try to get a Swedish citizenship so that they can try to be convicted in Sweden if they get caught. Cause' they know they'll be out in no time from here. We should do something about it, but I guess that won't happen.
as for her mental state, We can all agree on the fact that the woman is "crazy", but I guess she's has no mental illness, but hey. Neither has Fritzl.

Doing such things is just way over the edge. You can say wathever you want, but you're crazy when you hammer 2 little children.
I've always wondered what's going trough their mind when they commit such a crime. Would they really be crazy and out of their minds, or do they just see the world like it's theirs to decide every-thing?

Well the world is fucked. For every good, there is an evil. Like nutcases that kill their own children. How can an animal raise it's children better than the average human? Cause they don't rely much on intelligence. They use instincts. If you don't rely on intelligence then there is no chance of going insane, But if you don't use your intelligence then you can be easily manipulated, become dependant, lost your freedom, and live poorly. Everything has a good and bad eh? :P Please do not be offended just some weird opinions from an American Teen.

Lol, that is VERY VERY old news, like over a year old, remember when it was a lot of talk about it here in Sweden. She's already been found guilty and faces lifelong imprisonment and has been banned from Swedish soil =D
She's quite... interesting though, I heard that during her trial she just sat there and smiled, sometimes laughed at what was said. Psycho desu~~!

Really? I've never heard about it before. Shows how oblivious I am...
Wait, those chases in Arboga? That's what we're discussing? Holy hell am I oblivious.
Anyhow, lifetime sentence here in Sweden is never enough for some of the crimes commited. I mean, custom is that you're out after 2/3 of the time, meaning you're on the streets again after some 10-12 years. Weak.

...and not true at all. Animals sometimes kill their own offspring for various reasons and they also frequently kill the offspring of their mate's previous partner.

That 2/3 figure only applies when the convicted shows remorse, behaves in compliance with prison regulations and gives a real effort to change their ways.
In some crimes even token effort is accepted, but most criminals are jailed for burglary, theft and so on. Even "violent criminals" rarely ever take life. The thing that's really scary and what's rarely said is that most homicide cases are domestic - it's all in the family.
In this case I think it's highly likely that the woman will have to spend her whole sentence incarcerated.
However I don't agree with you guys: the American spirit of "no mercy", "no quarter", "no compassion" once again surfaced.
20 years is a long time. The broad is a poisonous, evil bitch. She deserves a harsh sentence. 20 years is harsh sentence. Maybe more would be appropriate for the severity of her crime. Like 30-40 years. But no more than that. If you've spent 30 years behind bars it means that by the time you're released you barely have any life ahead you. Time can and does change people. Maybe some people don't even deserve the "chance" to ever live a life...
...but no-one, and I mean no-one deserves not to have any chance at all. Being incarcerated and doing nothing doesn't take any effort. Living and trying to atone does. I don't argue for the "rehabilitation" of each and every single convict - some are beyond help and hope - but the mere admission that a chance should be given to everyone. They'd have to work for it, they'd have to show a genuine effort.
This won't be a weekend performance and then a life of bliss afterwards. These people spend long-long decades behind bars. Plenty of time to observe and learn what they are. Even if they can bullshit the bleeding heart psychologist who's come to profile them they can't do the same with the warden who's seen them year after year. Guess who will be sitting on the committee that decides their appeal?
Yes, I think everyone deserves a chance, but I never said it should be easy.
