H1N1/swine flu.

Many people are getting the swine flu,and many people are spazzing about it,but is it really bad as people say it is?You can get rid of it just by washing your hands with soap, yet poeople are starting to die.Im gonna get a vaccination soon.

Well my brothers and sisters had it five days ago and their running around fine right now. The reason people are dieing is because swine flu diminishes your immune system then you get pneumonia or some other sickness on top of the swine flu and that's how you die. You just have to be treated within 48 hours of getting. I'm glad because I have a natural immunity to it and can't catch it.

Two weeks ago I was diagnosed with H1N1. Four days off work and a course of Tamiflu, and I'm still alive (although for the first two days I felt truly awful).

I was in Osaka (commuting to Kobe daily) when the outbreak hit Japan and managed to avoid it. Likewise when I got back to the UK I was living in the worst hit area and still managed to miss it. I think as long as people are sensible about it it's not something that's too bad. The way I thought about it was "Well I'd probably get the normal flu sooner or later anyway, may as well accept I could get Swine flu instead".

I'm not really all too scared by it to be honest. So far I was pretty lucky when it came to annoying diseases, viruses etc. so I think I can let it go to the folders of "over hyped sicknesses" without having any quarrels about it.

I mean its not like people are dieing then coming back to life as zombies, thus causeing a zombie outbreak.o_O

You guys will be surprised at how much people don't give a damn about their hygienic.
I recall when using a restroom in cafeteria for my university. Eight guys didn't wash there hands when they took a dump or a piss. Eight guys in a space of few minutes I opened the door in disgust with my shoe and left, never to use it again.
After when I witnessed that, I pretty much avoid public restrooms as much as possible.

It is better if you don't try to find out what kind of bacterias are sticking to your keyboard than :P In quite alot of households there are more bacterias on a keyboard than there are on the toilette / the kitchen... and that will say something :P

Well yeah I know, but, I'd rather not touch the door where guy's dicks has been touching.

the A(H1N1) Swine Flu (H1N1 is another) is not as bad as people thought of it. Look, if it truly is a killer virus, then the Raccoon City incident in Resident Evil would be a more proper procedure in taking care of it. But what do the experts say to save yourself from the dreaded pandemic?
Wash your fucking hands and perform evasive maneuvers against sick people.
That's basically the same thing they say to prevent almost everything.
Oh yeah, we're already immune against the old bubonic plague and the spanish flu, so no worries there. What the experts were afraid of was if in case the Ahini (that's what we call it here) is stronger and can pass through the immune system of your average Joe. Turns out its not that strong and only people with very weak resistances can die from it.
Btw, the quarantine period given to me when I was diagnosed with Ahini gave me a week off so that I could download every translated hentai on Fakku, so cheers!

As with every flu outbreak, it has been blown far out of proportion. The Swine Flu is hardly more dangerous than the average flu, it is just very contagious. Plus it's properties are different in that it has more serious affects against the young rather than the aging population. It isn't a big deal.
The real problem is the amount of people going to the hospital over it. It's causing those who have serious symptoms, who need serious treatment, to potentially have an impossible chance to seek medical treatment. It's been said on the news I don't know how many times, but people refuse to listen. ONLY go to the hospital if you have a severe, and persisting, fever. Other than that tough it out at home where you aren't risking exposing the general populace.

The swine flu is nowhere near as deadly as everybody has made it out to be. They say those at the greatest risk are children, elderly people, and those with weak immune systems. Well guess what, those groups are always the most likely to catch something. I am just happy that I have what I believe to be one of the best immune systems on earth ( I back up that claim with the fact that the last major illness I ever had was a fever when I was seven and have not been sick since.)

Lots of people have said that the H1N1 isnt a big deal but thats only because they havent been affected by it or because they havent been close to someone who has been. Those people wont realize what a horrible disease it is until it does happen to them because just about everyone has that thought that tells them that, "It doesnt happen to me it only happens to other people" So they wont realize how horrible it really is until it smacks them right in the face. Today I visited a family friend who has been in the hospital for twenty days because of the this flu. He is currently on some form of life support in a quarintined room while being kept in an artificial coma. Like I said before reality doesnt hit us until were affected by it and the reality of this flu didnt get to me either until I went to the hospital today. The point is everyone should be careful and take at least basic hygeine countermeasures.

Swine flu has been majorly blown out of proportion. I mean seriously it's the flu. I've had the flu before and I've not died. I'm not afraid of getting sick.
Also as long as you're hygenic, there's a relatively low chance of contacting it. Just bathe normally and don't go making out with sick people and you should be fine.

I wished I got it really. I'm used to being sick so much I rarely get sick these days. And I wanted to test its fatality.

People are going crazy being scared of swine flu. I saw a guy cough to clear his throat on a bus and 4 people around him moved away immediately. Seriously, it's not that dangerous. It's a flu. -.-

Sadly, and true as it is; the dangers of the Swine Flu has been blown way out of proportion. But it is still good to take basic countermeasures against it. Such as basic hygiene and not going around coughing people in face/letting people do it to you. Me myself is getting a vaccine, mostly because my mother more or less makes me do it. But also because of the fact that even if me myself is not in a danger-zone and probably wouldn't notice any difference from a heavy regular flu, there still is people who can get really sick. So I'm taking the vaccine because to keep the contagion down.
Honestly I'm more afraid that this vaccine will have some sort of 28 days later or I am Legend effect on those who have taken it, making us into a mindless zombie horde.
