Right from the start I'd like to point out that I have absolutely no experience writing a resume and I would like to ask you guys for tips on how to make a good/great resume.
If you contribute to this topic, my thanks go out to you.

Well, it is some serious business for me at least. A good resume should ensure a non-crappy job. Thanks for the link I'm reading it at the moment.

OK. After reading the whole thing I have a problem with three sections.
The first one is profile: "Your profile should be a carefully worded summary, two or three sentences in length, of your key areas of experience (including the number of years' relevant experience), your principal skills and abilities and perhaps an indication of your career aspirations." This is a little difficult for me because I have no experience and I have no idea where I want to go with my career (me being a stupid kid just out of high school).
The second one is major achievements and it asks me to write 3-6 major achievements. The only achievement that I have so far is graduating my high school with a regents diploma. I have no idea what to write for at least 2 more.
The third one is kind of shaky - Experience. I'm sure I could pull off some bullshit saying that I was tutoring a classmate in math subject (If I want my first job to be a cashier) or I could BS some other experience. Now would you advise me to BS or just go out and say that I do not have ANY experience?

well talking bullshit wouldn't really work and admitting you have no exp is bad either so maybe you should try to think about what to write really hard i think there'll show up some things you can use^^

Nope, I was always a lazy prick while growing up so I never looked for a job. All my money came from BSing to my parents ( need money for class trip to museum or something like that. I would cut school the same day ). So I would have no experience. All of the things that I didn't have are really hard for me because I already tried to think of ways to get past them but wound up empty handed. So any further assistance would be appreciated.

Depends on the kind of job you want, I think. If you're aiming for big companies or institutions, BS'ing experience or achievements won't work; They'll probably ask for references they can refer to.

I'm thinking more of a cashier in like a game store, maybe a person that goes around helping people in Best Buy. Something like that for my first job, nothing big.

Consider reading some of the samples provided in the site below.

Thanks for the link, I'm going to start reading in a few minutes.
Hmm... it seems to me that I should lie about the work experience(i.e. tutoring). All of the sample resumes had work experience unlike me. This perhaps could go well, like if I say that I tutored a kid in math, but the kid is like 9 years old (not telling them that it's really my aunt's kid). All I have to do to get away with this is to inform her that people might call and ask.
Ideas from other people would be much appreciated too. Don't be shy and help me out.

I'm not too sure about lying about experience - as resumes, the people reading them will check up if it's true. Twisting the truth is one thing, but never lie on a resume. It sounds like you're either a high school senior or a college undergraduate. In those cases, not having lots or any experience is perfectly fine since your don't get the juicier jobs and intern/externships until junior year and later of college. (Assuming you're under the age of 24)

Not sure BSing be good but not having anything could mean a long wait on a job....unless the other areas are good so my advice is if you have no experience BOOST THOSE OTHER AREAS LIKE A MOFO cause then they may ignor the no exp and just look at the rest its really your best bet.

Hmm... thanks for the advices, I will try to make a resume buy the end of the day. I will post it here tomorrow and you guys can tell me what I should change.

well I'll see what you got later but heres what I've learned
just mention all the positive things you've been doing like community sevice or hell helping people with chores or that you a good student or where a good student and don't try to over sell it just make them belive that you eant the job and will do your best to keep it. or what ever your applying for
but I'll look at what you have when you put it up.

Dude, you won't believe how lazy I've been for the past 4 days. CoD:World At War had a double experience event from Friday-Sunday and I just had to take advantage of that. Now as for the resume, I can't really get to starting it. I need to fill out a bunch of stuff for college and go to one, so I'll probably make it by Friday.
Also I don't have ANY good things to say about myself. I was a cutter at school, my average grade was like 70 because I cut and failed classes. I never helped out the community and hopefully never will. Further assistance will be appreciated.(Now I'm going to go fill out some forms for college)
