How Would You Explain Your Fetish?

So here is the central question: If someone found out about one of your fetishes, but they did not understand anything about it, and only went by what they saw, how would you explain it?

Now joking aside. My first reaction would be to try to hide it in time. If that failed, I would try to fool the person into thinking it was regular porn (cartoon porn?). If said person really pressured me into admiting the truth (say, if it was a girlfriend), then I guess I would confess my fetish.
Of course, I have never considered this to happen, so I can't quite pinpoint what my reaction would really be.

Good question. hard to answer. i don't really have any normal fetishes, like stockings or bondage, but i suppose hentai would be what i was most likely caught with. and since alot of hentai is fetish specific(rape, loli,etc.), i could see someone misunderstanding. so i guess i would yell "get the hell out! what's wrong with you!?! don't you know how to knock!?!". that way i could turn it around and make them feel like the weirdo maybe.

It depends largely on the fetish (I have quite a few) and the person. If it's a member of my family, pretend nothing happened. Rip that page out of the calendar, a cosmological anomaly, that day never existed. If it's a friend or acquaintance, I'd probably try to explain the fetish and why it's not too abnormal. I'd probably also try to get them to understand that most people have at least one fetish that seems strange to others.

In a very rare circumstance, I would try to place the blame elsewhere, like a computer accident like jenslyn said, or say that I have it for comedic purposes. What circumstance would be required for me to do that, I'm not going to say. Yes, even on a hentai site, there are some things I don't want people to know. But that's cool, it makes me mysterious. First of all, I would have to explain how I got the doujin's in the first place. Secondly, I don't think they would understand why I like a certain fetish. It's an acquired taste (if you could say that) in my opinion. Some people like rape, other like cat girls, and others nothing at all!
