Seriously though, that is a horrible turn of events. And yeah, it probably won't be too long before it's banned everywhere.

I don't see it as anything surprising...Statisticians say that in about 20 years Maoris will have taken over the place.

I don't care for loli, so the banning of it only concerns me in two ways; one,it is much better than looking at kidy porn (since there are no live people involved at all), which is better still than going out and actually fucking children. It seems that if you leave people to their kinks in private, they are less likely exercise them on the general public. And two, it's sort of a foot in the door for general censorship of what would be considered pornographic material.
All the same, I live in the United States, so losing my right to look at prons is the least of my worries concerning civil liberties and the like.

I'm outta this place as soon as I graduate Uni. Who knows when they'll come up with something even more ridiculous.

I think NZ is a great country to live in, but im moving also to pursue my career.

Regarding China, you're only half right. People in China are extremely highly educated. They do around 6 hours of homework a day starting from Primary. It is true however that there are hardly any opportunities compared to NZ, but you can't say NZ is a place bursting with opportunities either.
