Well you can't question god can you?Yes, you can.
OT: I would tell "God" to go fuck himself.

I'd tell God to take a hike, and consider what could be done to fight him as such a deity is a total douche-bag. Good thing I'm an atheist so my thoughts are not preoccupied with Raging against the Heavens.Took the words from my mouth.

I'm atheist, so if I heard God speaking to me and telling me to kill my hypothetical child, I'd immediately bring myself into the psychiatric ward and have them work on my hallucinations.

I think a much better question would be "Would you be capable of killing your own son over your most powerful beliefs?"
Because not everyone believes in God or a deity, but everyone does have beliefs they hold.

No of course not. Killing because "God ordered us to" has led to around 3/4 of the wars in this world. Why would I be part of that? You are naive if you really believe this. NOT A SINGLE WAR was waged because of any god or gods. Reasons for wars are always of material nature, and excuses are excuses.

You don't know history very well, do you.

No reasonable person would have imaginary friends as an adult.
Yet, is it not the greatest defiance to disobey ones creator? I ask, how many of you have defied your parents, the very foundation of your existence.

I am not sure how the "God" of every other religion besides Christianity is so forgive me if my answer is a little...off.
One of the things that made me the Agnostic-Atheist I am today is the fact that many Christians say 'it is a sin to question God'. The reason I see that is because they just don't have the answer and they're basically using that statement as filler.
If you are basing this question off the story of Abraham, maybe God would stop me before I would kill my son. That event was to test Abraham's faith. But how can I have that same faith right now if this event does happen IRL? No, I wouldn't kill my son because of my conflicting faith and it would just sadden me.
