So i was walking to a friends house and i slipped on a patch of ice a stranger across the street began to laugh at me and not just not laugh hes intentionally drawing attention to me so i get up brush myself of and continue about 15 seconds later i hear a car horn and turn around to see this guy get hit by a car. now he was not serioulsy injured but he had a worst limp than i did.
Now since this happened last winter iv been makeing a effort to be a better person as not to be hit by the metaphorical and physical karma truck. So i would like to know if anyone else had had this happen to them how would the have reacted?

I don't think anything like that has happened to me. Maybe it did but I guess I must've brushed it off as a coincidence.
Also, are you really trying to be a better person because of karma? Seriously?

Well, one time in an online game a friend decided to race me to a place, there were 2 options, taking a shortcut through the water or following the longer road.
Me, being honest and sincere, decide to take the road as planned, he takes to the water. About 3 minutes into the "race" he starts typing like crazy saying something is killing him, causing him to suffer a major setback... Basically, i was pissing my pants laughing.
After that we had another goal to run to, this time over land, but you could go through the wilderness or via the roads. Again i take the road as he should've also and run my way there, he goes via the wilderness and dies several times.
Now, there is a hidden kind of road leading up to the destination and he couldn't find it, he had been jokingly insulting me non stop so he decides to try karma, he says: "I love you" and he finds the road instantly, no enemy's at all.
This is the best example of karma that ever happened to me.
I had to change pants after all that...

So, could I go around doing bad thing to people assuming they deserve it?
As far as I know Karma has never really come back to me. Either Im a good [lets not get into a morality debate] person (which I believe I am), or it's all pure coincidence.
I personally think it's all coincidence. I dont believe any outside force such as karma is causing events in our world.

Karma only exists in your mind. Shit, I shouldn't be surprised that superstitious people treat karma like a vindictive entity. Nature doesn't hold grudges on behalf of other people, get fucking real. That dude who got hit by a car was just in the wrong place in the right time.

I don't believe in karma at all. There are people out there who has never done anything, but yet they are stuck be a lot of misfortune. Some assholes out there never get punished in any way. Karma doesn't exist. It's just good/bad luck for some.

While the idea of Karma is nice, it's not much different from most things of its nature.
Predictions of the future, for instance.
You will have a phone call...... NOW!
...No? Oh well. In that case you will simply brush this off as nothing. However, if you DID actually receive a phone call, you would currently be amazed... even if it was just a fluke.
Simply put, people only notice things when they actually happen. If the guy never got hit by the car(although very amusing he was), I doubt there would even be this topic. You would just remember the asshole that laughed at you.
In a world with uncountable actions, there are even more outcomes... and one is always bound to happen.

Ah, an illustration of Confirmation Bias, which I think a lot more people should fucking know about. When people get "owned" they don't pay attention to the fact that the guy who fucked them is not getting any bullshit from karma, until something actually happens, which is then attributed to said karma.

I don't believe karma is a spiritual thing. If you help an old lady cross the street someone might take notice and help you out. If you spit on an old lady trying to cross the street someone might take notice and kick yer' ass.
Not spiritual.
Not spiritual.

It's not worth mentally noting if it hinders you. However, if you gain some form of satisfaction or benefit from recalling it, attempting to prove a point like Karma for instance, then it most certainly will be remembered.
Therefor, most of what you can easily recall is divine, unavoidable justice.
This is all heavily relevant to faith and the core foundation of miracles... but I don't want to get off topic.

I do believe that fate will come back and bite you in the ass. I've seen some mean tricks life plays on us, not to mention the huge amount of irony created.

I believe Karma to an extent, but in that situation I probably would've pointed at him and laughed right back in his face.

Don't really believe in Karma or the like. The thing is, that at the end of the day, everything is just a normal chain of action -> reaction with a certain amount of luck added to it.

I prefer to just think of it as the pinnacle of irony. Most recent one was early this morning. I was chatting on Skype with a friend, and she is a notoriously bad speller. So I said something like "At least I can spell beyond a third grade level, and that's saying something considering what a HORIBLE speller I am." The irony was not lost on my awesome typo, but I like to think she'll never live me down.
